Most recently, Tara served as Chief Operating Officer for Saxo Bank MENA, where her strategic vision and operational acumen elevated our regional presence. Tara’s tenure with Saxo Bank spanned nearly a decade, during which she has held multiple roles, including Marketing Manager for MENA, Regional Head of Marketing for MENA, and Head of Go-to-Market for MENA, UK, and Switzerland. I’d like to particularly highlight her outstanding performance as Interim Global Head of Go-to-Market, a position she assumed during my paternity leave in 2022. Her stewardship during this period ensured seamless execution of our global strategies, further affirming her capability to excel in high-stakes environments. Tara had consistently developed innovative marketing strategies, enhanced brand awareness, and driven strong client acquisition results. Her leadership of a multidisciplinary team—including marketing managers, creatives, and digital media specialists—has been instrumental in achieving key performance metrics. Beyond her functional expertise, Tara’s work ethic and ability to inspire those around her are commendable. She has been a trusted mentor to many and was frequently sought out to onboard and guide new marketing team members. Her broader business skills have also enabled her to transition into her most recent COO role, overseeing the digitization of platforms, communications, and services, while driving efficiency and innovation across the client acquisition, activation, and retention funnel.“

This platform enables enterprises in Lebanon to transact internationally with speed and confidence. Through an online portal, businesses can initiate real-time transfers, track transactions, and access financial reports, providing them with the tools necessary to integrate more seamlessly into the global economy. This collaboration seeks to boost financial inclusion and empower businesses of all sizes in Lebanon to engage more effectively in global commerce. TerraPay simplifies cross-border payments with one of the most expansive networks worldwide. It enables transfers to over 150 receiving countries, 210 sending countries, 3.7 billion mobile wallets, 7.5 billion bank accounts, and over 12 billion cards. Backed by the IFC (World Bank), Visa, and others, TerraPay continues its mission to create a borderless financial world. OMT was established in 1998 as the first Western Union agent in Lebanon and currently operates a network of over 1,400 agents, providing more than 200 services. These include the OMT Visa Card and the OMT Pay app, both of which are designed to enhance digital financial access.
