This is an excellent app for keeping track of something/someone in large quantities without having to remember which number you are on, with the added benefit of doing so discreetly. Examples of uses may be: making a guest list, counting large amounts of money/change, gathering test samples for experiments/surveys, listening for the number of times something is uttered (for correction of speech impediments/frequent use of a conversation tic, ex: "um", "uh"), counting votes, or counting heads at a gathering. A sleek counter that enables keeping track of counts forward or backwards, and allows you to start over to zero. Tapping the screen anywhere triggers the counter to increase (or decrease).

It's a great app but....

It'll be even a greater app if you guys added the volume button functionality to be used as the "+", "-" counters. It will be a much better counter app with this function because it will allow the user to hold the phone as if it was an actual counter ! Please email me once this update comes to life one day... thanks !

Been happily using this app and encouraging other to use it for more than 4 years. Update made it far worse. It loses last count position when sent to background. It disconnects on it own. It sometimes zero the count once a notification arrives on the phone.
