Proud of what the team shipped here - but let me add the strategic layer behind it: Six weeks ago we started with a hackathon. The point was never a demo. It was to prove that sovereignty and AI performance are not a trade-off, and that the path runs through open models. A trillion-parameter open-weight model is what lets us own the full stack instead of consuming someone else's. Open is not the alternative to sovereign - it is the precondition. Closed systems quietly rebuild the technology silos we are trying to escape. The deeper shift is organisational: AI that can be shared across functions - Finance, Sales, Compliance, PMO - while staying GDPR and EU AI Act compliant by design, with data that never leaves the perimeter. The 12 micro-applications colleagues built are proof of exactly that. We start where it has to start - with ourselves! The applications go live first in our internal Yorizon Marketplace, available to our own organisation. In a second step we open it to partners and customers. AI First starts at home: "we will not credibly offer sovereign AI without living it first."
