🌍 Excited to share that I've completed the Leeds Global Industry Programme (April 2026), powered by Practera in collaboration with University of Leeds! Over two weeks, I worked as a Growth Strategy Consultant on an industry project with Item Banc, Inc a Web3 fintech company in the tokenisation space. The challenge: Help a fast-moving fintech client think through how AI could be integrated into their business to drive growth. What I did: As part of a cross-cultural, international team, I conducted competitive landscape research and market analysis across the Web3 and fintech sector, mapped AI integration opportunities across key product workstreams, and co-delivered a strategic report and presentation directly to the client's leadership team. What I took away: This experience pushed me to think like a consultant — translating complex ideas into clear, actionable strategy under a real client brief and tight deadlines. Collaborating across time zones with teammates from different academic and cultural backgrounds also sharpened how I communicate and adapt in ambiguous situations. I’m proud to share that I’ve successfully completed my Global Industry Programme, as #TeamLeader, during the April cohort. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that allowed me to apply real world consulting skills in a fully remote, global team setting, and that also, for the very first time!! As a Leader, I had the opportunity to guide a diverse and talented group while working on a live project for Recycled Learning (RLKIDS), with Tobams Group. A special thank you to our client, Dr. Ona Newton (FBCS, FRSA, FSIP) , the CEO of Tobams Group, whose insights, expectations, and feedback challenged us to think strategically and deliver meaningful and impact driven outcomes. They were also very encouraging, which helped us building our confidence for this project. Over the course of the project, we collaborated closely to secondary research, ideate, and develop practical solutions aligned with the client’s vision, strengthening our skills in teamwork, communication, problem solving, and professional consulting. A big shout out to my teammates Sejal Shetiya , Nicole Zhu, Ziheng Zhang ,Chu Thị Thu Hằng , and Chang Chen for their contribution in delivering customer focused insights and solutions for this project. 🎉I'm pleased to share that I've successfully completed a 2-week fully remote industry consulting microplacament through the Nottingham Microplacements: Technology, Innovation and Impact (April 2026) programme. During this project, I contributed as an Industry Analyst, working as part of a student consultant team supporting GreenLedger, an environmental services startup focused on improving ESG and carbon reporting systems for businesses. 🌏GreenLedger, a sustainability-focused organisation, tasked our team with analysing industry trends, competitor activity and sustainability developments to support their growth and enhance their positive environmental impact. 💼During the two weeks, alongside balancing academic work, I took part in: • Conducting industry and competitor research to identify sustainability trends and emerging technologies • Contributing to strategic discussions focused on ESG reporting and sustainable business development • Supporting the development of actionable recommendations aligned with sustainability and industry needs • Collaborating closely with my team to produce a final consultancy-style report presenting our findings and recommendations 📊This experience strengthened my teamwork, research and analytical skills while giving me valuable insight into how sustainability and innovation are shaping modern industries. 🙏Thank you to the University of Nottingham, Practera and GreenLedger for this valuable opportunity and support throughout the project. 🌱I look forward to continuing to build my skills in chemical engineering, sustainability and process design, and to applying these skills in future engineering opportunities. #UniversityofNottingham #Microplacements #ChemicalEngineering #Sustainability #EngineeringStudents #ESG #Teamwork #IndustryResearch

I am proud to share my completion of the Nottingham Micro-Internship Scheme in Sustainability, coordinated by Practera. Across two weeks, I worked in a team of University of Nottingham students on a live brief from the North Wales Dragons, an incredible community sports initiative promoting inclusivity and mental wellbeing through sport. We were challenged to develop recommendations on how the club could collaborate with the UNESCO MOST Bridges program and Sports for Nature. I set a personal goal to strengthen my service orientation skills-focusing on understanding and efficiently responding to client needs. As Communications Lead, I took ownership of client engagement through sending regular progress updates and organizing virtual meetings. I also took a lead on mapping their values against the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, in order to deliver practical and client focused outcomes that underpinned their eligibility to be part of a global movement for social and ecological change. Our recommendations have already contributed to real impact, with the club already acting upon our recommendation for a Plastic Free Matchday. Working in a multidisciplinary team reinforced how diverse perspectives are essential for delivering grounded and effective solutions to the climate crisis. I strengthened my service orientation by building strong client relationships and working within a deadline to deliver work shaped around their needs, an essential global skill for a future career in consultancy. I’m pleased to share that in March 2026, I successfully completed the University of Bristol Business School Micro-Internship Programme, a 3-week authentic industry challenge delivered in collaboration with #Practera. During this project, I had the opportunity to work in a professional and collaborative environment, applying my analytical thinking, research, problem-solving, and communication skills to real-world business challenges. The experience allowed me to strengthen my ability to work within a team, manage tasks effectively, and approach industry problems with a more practical and strategic mindset. This experience has been a valuable step in my professional development and has given me greater confidence in applying my academic learning to industry-focused projects. I am pleased to share that last week I completed an exciting 2-week virtual industry project with Practera as a Student Consultant and Project Manager. My team and I were tasked with conducting market research and analysis for Go Goosey - an online retail company specialising in kids quick-drying onesies and microfibre towels - to develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. Over these two weeks, I led my team by organising both team and client meetings, managing timelines, coordinating workflows, and driving collaboration to ensure the final deliverable exceeded the client’s expectations. This was all while simultaneously developing a research proposal for my dissertation, making it a particularly rewarding challenge. From conducting an environmental analysis and social media audit to crafting strategic recommendations, undertaking this project strengthened my ability to build strategy from data-driven insights - and sharpened my communication, team-work, and leadership skills in a real-world setting. What made this experience especially valuable was the direct collaboration with Go Goosey’s founder. I’m excited to share that I’ve successfully completed the King’s Micro Internship with BharathMD Foundation through Practera and King's College London. As part of this 2-week consultancy-style industry challenge, my team and I worked directly with BharathMD Foundation to develop a digital marketing strategy focused on raising awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), increasing fundraising, and strengthening stakeholder engagement. While consultancy-style projects are something we often work on at university, this experience felt especially valuable because we were able to work closely with the NGO team, understand their real requirements, and create recommendations with direct business impact. From audience analysis and social media audits to campaign strategy and final recommendations, the project helped strengthen both my strategic thinking and soft skills-especially communication, teamwork, and presenting solutions in a professional environment. As a King’s master’s student, experiences like this continue to prepare me for a career in marketing by bridging academic learning with real-world industry practice.
