I always believed you can repair and give a second live to your machines you purchased.

I always believed you can repair and give a second live to your machines you purchased.
It first was a hobby to me since I needed to understand how every machine works inside - the only way: take it apart, study, understand and ... re-mount it. In 99% of cases machines I took apart and reassembled afterward kept working for years, often better and more reliable.

Today I do this as a hobby and passion, friends of mine and wider circles know about some of my skills to repair audio material, often amplifiers of any kind.

Most rewarding moment is when you give back the previously broken machine and the owner is super happy since it re-works again. I don't do that for money, for some good beers or wine yes, but not money. It's about keep running material you purchased, worst case take apart and recycle for other machines. It's about you cannot just throw away things once they break, especially if you loved them. It's about getting skills of repairing any kind of machine, share with others, make others want doing same as I do - I call this remote repair, I guide my friends, they learn and do and if they succeed you can imagine how proud they are, and I am too. I do this for fun and to life some of my principles: understand what you buy, learn how you can repair and share with others and keep for years in good condition so worst case you may resell them to others again. It's about keeping the initial value of a piece of hardware up and alive and not just consume and be ignorant what we purchase and use every day.

    Examples:

    • Focal Sub Cub2 and Dôme: PSU, output stage, start circuit
    • NAD C350: re-cap
    • JVC A-X9: re-lamp, revise
    • SONY TA-F55: re-lamp, revise switched power supply, repaired and improved output stage w/ Darlingtons
    • SONY EP90ES DSP: revise power-supply, program DSPs
    • ONKYO R-1045DAB receiver/amplifier: repair PCB, broken solderings
    • NAKAMICH RE-10 AM/FM receiver/amplifier: remote repair, mostly contact problems
    • Harman Kardon HK1400

Virtual platform system for use in a cloud-based system, comprising: a virtual platform simulator configured to represent in software a physical remote client device and to have this representation interact with a virtual platform application; a process virtual machine configured to execute program instructions of the virtual platform application and comprising a code morpher component for transforming the program instructions of the virtual platform application into native program instructions for execution on a physical host machine of the cloud-based system; and interception components for capturing transactions from the virtual platform simulator and the process virtual machine. The transactions are related to the execution of the program instructions of the virtual platform application. The virtual platform system is configured to compare the captured transactions with pre-stored transactions, preferably stored in a blockchain, to obtain a comparison result, and to allow the execution of the program instructions depending on the comparison result.

    - Micro-controller and programm in assembly (developped myself, no copy)
    - PCBs
    - Cable management
    - Incremental improvements and simplifications

This is a single prototype running and being used by the family every day, no better test.
Audio amplifiers are my passion and it is something I spend a lot of time for.

Analog is the balance to the digital - I always love bridging apparently opposite worlds.
This quest of unifying normally not unifiable things creates new things and news dynamics.
It perfectly describes how I approach things and challenges in my life.

This is my personal high-end audio amplifier project. Everything is build and coded from scratch, some schematics of course already existed but were studied, recalculated and improved appropriately.
Case is a Fischer base but completely customized (anodized, nikel) and enforced including top in forged glass. Weight close to 30 kg overall.

    It's designed to deliver 2x50W on 8 Ohms and 2x80 W on 4 Ohms.
700+W overall PSU power supply, dual rectifier for each stage (8 diodes).
Overall output stage noise is <10 uV.
Sound: easily challenges 10-100 k audio gears.

Daily operated by all family members since 2018, never had a problem.
    Drives a pair of B&W 604 S3 loudspeakers.

    It's innovative to that way

    - IGBT audio grade output stage
    - Frequency BW 0-270 kHz
    - Class A input stage, emitter follower
    - Cascode pre-driver stage
    - CFB (Current FeedBack design)
    - Fully digital input stage using PGS2310 digital potentiometer (optical encoder) and dedicated buffer stages controlled by a PIC18F252 MCU all coded in assembly including the display
    - Real dual-mono construction
    - Separate input / digital volume PSU for digital and analog circuits
    - Soft-start and protection circuits
