General Information
As an internal service department, the Human Resources Department assists other City departments in meeting their service responsibilities to the public and assisting employees in reaching their fullest potential with the City. Human Resources provides 713 employees in 11 departments with full-service Human Resources and Risk Management programs including recruitment and selection, benefits administration, workers' compensation, safety, employee wellness, labor and employee relations, classification and compensation, and organizational and employee development. Staff also manages public liability and loss-control programs.
