    We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Dearnley as our Global CEO, effective immediately.   Mark has served as interim CEO since February 2026 and brings a wealth of experience, with a strong track record of leading digital and business transformation across multiple industries.   Following a comprehensive external and internal search, the Hays Board unanimously felt that Mark’s outstanding leadership skills and expertise make him the ideal person to lead us forward. His deep understanding of digital transformation will be instrumental as our industry continues to navigate significant changes.   Prior to being appointed interim CEO, Mark was our Chief Digital and Technology Officer. He joined us from Inchcape plc, where he held the role of Group Chief Digital Officer. His previous roles include Partner at Bain & Company, Chief Digital & Information Officer at HM Revenue & Customs, and Chief Information Officer, UK at Vodafone Group plc. He is currently a Trustee at The King’s Trust.   We all welcome Mark into the role and look forward to working with him as he leads us into our next phase.

    I’m incredibly honoured to be taking on the Global CEO role of Hays Having served as Interim CEO over the past few months, I’ve seen even more clearly the strength of our business, our people, and the impact we have for clients and candidates around the world.
