A few weeks ago, our Social Impact and Community Relations teams visited Abilene, Texas to listen and learn from the people who call the Big Country home. The Abilene area is home to two Oracle AI data centers, and we recognize that growth brings both opportunity and challenges. During our visit, we met with local leaders, educators, nonprofit partners, businesses, and residents to better understand what matters most to the community. We came to listen, and what we heard was clear: Abilene is a special place, shaped by strong community pride and deep local connections. Oracle’s investments in the region will lead to over 2,500 project related jobs. We are invested in supporting the growth of Abilene, Taylor County, and Shackelford County, and we’re committed to listening, building relationships, and sharing updates here along the way.
