Moving a robotic cutting cell to another station changes more than its location. The process coordinate chain can change at the platform, station, workpiece, robot base, or tool center. A reliable re-registration sequence confirms docking and station identity, locates station references, establishes the actual workpiece datum, verifies the active tool calibration, and tests representative points, approach height, orientation, and path limits. Process energy should remain disabled until the verified state is restored. Navigation accuracy is not process-path accuracy because they rely on different coordinate chains.
