Why Riga as Noda’s largest hub? 🇱🇻 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 20% 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 From legal and operations to finance and marketing, Riga brings together a big part of the people building Noda every day. 𝐄𝐞𝐞𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 Latvians have been paying online through banks like Citadele, Luminor, SEB or Swedbank since before the PSD2, from utility bills to car insurance. 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 Latvia’s home market is small, so tech businesses design for pan-European scale from day one. Local talent has real experience building, operating and growing across borders. 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞 Baltics built fintech faster than much of Europe through early digital identity, structured sandboxes, leaner licensing and collaborative regulators. The result – lots of fintech companies and a strong talent pool.

April 1 is usually about pranks. At Noda, we decided to mark it differently: owning our fails instead. Not the dramatic kind – the human kind. The kind that makes you cringe a little, laugh later and quietly change how you work. Here are five honest fails that our team members shared, and what they taught us. 👇

Hedgie's next stops are in! 🦔 Our little mascot has visited Noda colleagues across Spain, Estonia and Croatia to see the spaces and habits that keep them productive. #NodaTeam #RemoteCulture

Back from PAY360, feeling inspired ✨ A great couple of days full of conversations and sessions covering open banking, VRPs, stablecoins, fraud and resilience across the payments landscape. Thanks to The Payments Association for bringing the event to life!

According to global e-commerce estimates from Datos Insights, merchants lost around $201B to false declines versus $33B to fraud in 2025. That’s roughly 6x more revenue lost to good customers being declined than to fraud. Fraud gets a lot of attention because it’s visible. But false declines can quietly have an even bigger impact. Battling fraud matters but focusing on fraud alone may miss the full picture.

Continuing Hedgie’s travels 🦔 We have no shortage of colleagues ready to host him – and plenty of work setups still to showcase. This week’s route: Cyprus, Lithuania, Germany and Poland. #NodaTeam #RemoteCulture
