Vlastimil Venclik shared thisLast week at NY TechWeek was exactly the kind of energy reset I needed. It’s always a great reminder of what happens when you put ambitious people and strong ideas in the same room. I spent the week talking with founders, investors, and builders on both sides of the Atlantic. What really stands out about the NY startup scene is the openness. Conversations are direct, the questions are sharp, and everyone is focused on building things that can actually scale globally. A big thanks to the European Startup Embassy and CzechInvest for bringing European founders together and hosting such a solid pitch night. There is so much untapped potential when you connect European tech with the US market. We also hosted our own ValkaAI event, and I really appreciated the turnout. People weren’t just asking about the tech behind our real-time interactive AI avatars—they immediately got the business case. We spent a lot of time discussing how this drives new entertainment formats, actual fan engagement, and digital interaction at scale. Leaving New York with a lot of momentum and a lot of great conversations to follow up on. Next stop: San Francisco TechWeek. Let’s gooo!

Our next step is our most ambitious yet: the creation of a fully integrated Fast Betting Content unit. We are looking for a Director FBC to take the helm. This person will integrate our trading, product, and 24/7 studio teams (soccer, basketball, table tennis, etc..) into one unified engine. It’s a high-impact role reporting directly to me, sitting at the very core of where we are headed as a 500+ person company. From day one, ValkaAI wasn’t an experiment. We started it to solve a problem. The problem was simple: the experience we wanted to create couldn’t be delivered with today’s tech, so instead of waiting for someone else to do it, we decided to fill the gap ourselves. Today, I’m proud to announce that ValkaAI has raised €12 million in a pre-seed round led by Rockaway Ventures, with J&T Ventures, Tensor Ventures, BD Partners, Naše ČESKO OPF, and Petr Zámečník joining us on this journey. Current AI avatars can talk, but they can’t move naturally or fully interact with their world. We’re building avatars that can — ones that react in real time, move exactly like people, and can be developed at scale. Think AI sports commentators that adapt to your language and style. Or interactive content where you’re not just watching, but actually participating. Big thank you to our team, 40 people across San Francisco, Prague, and Dubai, who believe in our vision and work so hard to bring it to life every single day. When we started, the road was anything but easy — long nights, tough decisions, and more uncertainty than clarity. Looking back now, those moments feel like the needed pressure that made this recognition possible. But let me be clear: this is not my win. This is a team win — every single person at Oddin.gg who gives their best every day, who believes in what we’re building, and who brings passion, courage, and spirit into the company. Our success is the direct result of teamwork at the highest level, and I couldn’t be prouder of the people standing behind this achievement. Skål to our Vikings and Valkyries! I also want to express my gratitude to all our partners, clients, and supporters. Your trust in us, especially at times when we were still proving ourselves, has been crucial to our growth. What stood out to me the most was the energy — from world-class talent genuinely excited about our vision at ValkaAI, to investors and founders in SF who see huge potential in what we’re building.
