🌊 After months of planning and overcoming significant access constraints, DRONE-OPS Ltd has recently completed a SLAM LiDAR survey of a complex coastal cave system—extending an already detailed UAV dataset. This project reinforces that DRONE-OPS doesn’t just deliver survey-grade UAV outputs; we solve complex, multi-domain survey challenges on land, at sea, and in confined environments. To meet a critical client requirement, we hired in a NavVis MLX SLAM LiDAR (via Al-Top Topografía, S.A.), with outstanding on-site technical support from David Zamora. 🎯 The objective: define the true inland extent of sea-level caves beneath a proposed development. The outcome will directly inform foundation design and early excavation strategy. 🚤 Execution combined vessel-based access with controlled ground entry at low tide where required—planned, risk-assessed, and delivered safely. Initial same-day processing is already showing strong results and is expected to close key data gaps for the client.
