Japan is accelerating its counter-drone capabilities. Japan's Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency (ATLA) has selected Quantum Systems for its Counter-UAS Proof of Concept Program. The programme sits inside ATLA's Early Acquisition Program, designed to fast-track the evaluation and deployment of interceptor drone capabilities for the Japan Self Defense Forces. In a world where airborne threats evolve in weeks, early acquisition makes the difference. ↳ Full press release in the comments.

The Future is Unmanned.
About us
Quantum Systems is a leading European deep-tech company specialising in unmanned systems. We develop, produce, and scale integrated hardware, software, and AI solutions that are operational across air, ground, and sea today. Headquartered near Munich and operating globally, we build all core technologies in-house: platforms, mission software, and AI-driven analytics. This stands for technological excellence, scalability, and European sovereignty. Armed forces, security agencies, and critical infrastructure operators rely on our systems when situational awareness and speed of decision-making define the outcome. What we build is already in the field. What we're building next will redefine the category. We're looking for people who want their work deployed, not presented. Who believe sovereignty is something you engineer, not something you declare.

Quantum Systems is expanding to Estonia. With a permanent office in Tallinn, Estonia becomes our second capability centre on NATO's Eastern Flank, bringing together local engineering talent alongside Estonian strength in electro-optics, stabilised payloads and precision ISR. The expansion also deepens our software stack. SensusQ, an Estonian intelligence software company now part of Quantum Systems, turns large volumes of operational data into intelligence a commander can act on. Sensors, platforms and analytics, connected inside a sovereign European architecture. "We are strengthening the software and sensor capabilities behind our portfolio," said Martin Karkour Chief Revenue Officer. "An important step for the Baltics, and for delivering integrated European solutions." ↳ Full press release in the comments.

Last week we took European autonomy onto the floors of Deutsche Börse, Nasdaq and NYSE. One week on from our Series D, all three exchanges marked the round. A signal that Europe's deep-tech and unmanned systems now register with the world's financial centres. That recognition belongs to the people behind it: the investors backing the thesis, the customers and partners on the frontline, and the team turning capital into production. Our thanks to all three exchanges for the recognition - and to the investors, customers, partners and team who earned it.

Armed forces can only fight at the speed their industrial partners can produce, adapt, and sustain. As part of the official German delegation to the NATO Summit in Ankara, Quantum Systems is expanding its international manufacturing network in support of NATO's Drone Edge initiative. Production spans Germany, Ukraine, Australia and California. A new line ramps up in Huntsville, and further sites are being established in the UK and along the Eastern Flank in Lithuania, Estonia and Romania. The model is localisation: deliver, build local support, integrate into national industry. Combat power produced where it defends - in months, not years. Image: © NATO

Europe's largest defence technology financing round to date: Quantum Systems' $1.2 billion Series D, valuing the company at ~$8 billion and co-led by Blackstone, Noteus Partners, Airbus, and Advent. Proceeds will be used to expand production capacity, strengthen supply chain resilience, scale delivery across allied markets and continue investing in software and AI capabilities. In 2025 alone, our systems flew more than 19,000 missions in Ukraine. Production runs across Germany, Ukraine, the United States, Australia, Romania, the United Kingdom, and the Baltics, delivered by a company with triple-digit growth and double-digit profitability. This is what a neo prime looks like: a category of European defence company that did not exist five years ago. The round is also backed by BOND, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Wellington Management, A.P. Moller Holding, and Elephant Lake Ventures, alongside existing shareholders Balderton and HV Capital. Beyond the Series D, Airbus has deepened its strategic collaboration with us. ↳ Full press release in the comments.

Integrate every partner system into an open C2 architecture in the shortest possible time. That was the goal of MOSAIC Partner Days 2026. All partners succeeded. Two days at Gilching pushing the future of interoperable autonomy forward with partners from across the MOSAIC network. Integration work and technical sessions across air, ground and maritime. Modern operations don't run on a single vendor stack. They run on sovereign European architectures where independent systems act as one. Integration speed is the real test.

„We are here because our customers are here. This is where we want to listen." Martin Karkour, CRO of Quantum Systems, at yesterday’s opening of the company’s new German office in Lahnstein. Trust is built in person. Procurement in Europe moves at the speed of trust, and that speed is set by the conversations that only happen when both sides sit in the same room often enough to move forward together. From Monday, that conversation gets a lot closer. The afternoon carried a second handover. €25,000 to the Soldatenhilfswerk der Bundeswehr, presented to Dr. Marlon Bröhr. The organisation supports soldiers and their families when life turns hardest.

Quantum Systems reposted this
Today, we’re joining the MOSAIC Partner Days 2026 hosted by Quantum Systems Systems in Gilching. The focus of today’s event is the integration of the technologies and capabilities of all Quantum Systems Group and partner companies into the new MOSAIC software ecosystem. Bringing together expertise across the group is a key step toward creating a seamless, interoperable solution for autonomous multi-domain systems. Beyond the technical discussions, the event also provides a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues and partners from across the group, exchange ideas, and strengthen our collaboration. We’re looking forward to an inspiring day of insightful discussions, valuable networking, and working together on our shared vision for the future of autonomous systems. #QuantumSystems #Spleenlab #MOSAIC #Autonomy

PULSE P19 was built to dominate the low-altitude battlespace. Saturated with drones, below traditional radar coverage, beyond established defences. Powered by MOSAIC UXS, the aircraft runs ISR, counter UxS, border security, escort jamming, and strike from a single airframe. Crewed or uncrewed, with IFR certified avionics and full night vision compatibility. Designed and manufactured in Germany. The first German multirole aircraft with optional piloting capability.
