About us

We are the LEGO Group, the company behind the world’s most loved LEGO® bricks. Our brand name derived from the two Danish words Leg Godt, which mean “Play Well”. We’ve been sparking imaginations and inspiring the builders of tomorrow since 1932. This is our mission and what motivates our colleagues around the world every day. Today, we remain proudly family-owned with headquarters in Billund, Denmark. We have regional hubs in Boston, USA; London, UK; Shanghai, China; and Singapore, as well as 7 manufacturing facilities around the world. These places are home to 31,000+ colleagues in everything from design and engineering to digital technology and marketing. Together we learn, imagine and build – creating play experiences that are sold in over 130 countries worldwide. A purposeful and responsible global brand where creativity helps to inspire builders all around the world. Just imagine being part of that!

  • 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄 #3: This one is all about trust, touch and absolutely no peeking! Inspired by our LEGO® Play Agents, today’s challenge only needs a few random objects, something to hide them in, and someone willing to guess wildly under pressure. LEGO® bricks optional (but encouraged!). Play very much required. 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬  Each year, many LEGO colleagues become Play Agents, picking up fun activities to bring Learning Through Play into our everyday work lives.     But why should we have all the fun?     Every Friday in July, we’re taking some of our favourite Play Agent activities to LinkedIn. No training required. Just a few minutes, willingness to play, and maybe a colleague, friend or family member to join you. #BehindTheBricks

  • World Cup fever is in full swing and it has sent us into the archives. ⚽️   From playable pitches and LEGO® minifigure teams to iconic stadiums and a football-loving puppy, LEGO Football has produced a few memorable moments of its own. 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞.

𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄 #2: Play doesn't have to be complicated and this Friday's play break requires almost no preparation. Inspired by our LEGO® Play Agents, here’s a quick activity you can try with colleagues and family, using whatever you already have nearby. All you need is a mobile phone and a room with a few hiding spots. LEGO bricks optional (but encouraged). Play very much required! 🎮 The family meeting about gaming has been cancelled. Instead we're building, playing, and talking together. 83% of parents recognise that digital play can help children connect, share ideas and build confidence. Yet families don't always see eye to eye when it comes to gaming. That's why, with insights from UNICEF, we've created playful activities to help families explore digital life together. • SUMMER CHALLENGE: Not all agents wear capes. Some carry LEGO® bricks, a catalogue of play activities and an uncanny ability to turn learning into play. Each year, so many LEGO Group colleagues become Play Agents, learning how to integrate playful activities into our everyday work lives. From strengthening communication and collaboration to unlocking creativity and fresh thinking, our Play Agents help bring Learning Through Play to life across our workplaces. But why should we have all the fun? Every Friday in July, we’re taking some of our favourite Play Agent activities to LinkedIn. No training required. Just a few minutes, willingness to play, and maybe a colleague, friend or family member to join you. (Psst... they're not just for grown-ups. Many of these activities are equally fun with the kids over the holiday.) Challenge #1: Back-to-back with LEGO bricks. For this challenge, you’ll need ~6 LEGO bricks of any size, colour or shape. :: Find a teammate and sit back-to-back. :: One person builds something using the LEGO bricks. :: When they’re finished, they describe what they built and how they built it – without showing their creation. :: The other person tries to recreate the build based only on the instructions. :: Time for the big reveal! Compare creations and see how closely they match. No bricks nearby? No problem. Try drawing a simple object instead and describe it while your teammate attempts to draw the same thing without looking! How close did you get?
