We were proud to host the closing event of the second cohort of the WOMEM CEO Academy at our offices, celebrating another milestone in our partnership with WOMEM and its mission to empower the next generation of women leaders. Over the past six months, the Academy has brought together an exceptional group of women on their journey toward CEO and senior executive roles, providing them with the tools, network, and confidence to lead. The event opened with remarks by Liron Hacohen, Partner in our Hi-Tech Department, who spoke about the value of diverse leadership, innovation, and investing in women shaping the future of business. A special thank you to Orlie Sol Dahan Gruper, the visionary founder of WOMEM and the driving force behind the CEO Academy. Through her leadership and dedication, she continues to build a powerful community and create meaningful opportunities for women to grow, lead, and make an impact. We are grateful to WOMEM for this meaningful partnership and congratulate all the graduates of the second cohort. גאים בעורכי הדין ניר רוזנר, כרמל ברקת ואסף ברגמן ממשרדנו שמייצגים את חקלאי עוטף עזה בעתירתם החשובה לבג"ץ. לאחר 7 באוקטובר ספגה החקלאות בעוטף עזה פגיעה קשה - שטחים נסגרו בצו "שטח צבאי סגור", עובדים זרים נטשו ושדות ספגו מטחי טילים. המדינה גיבשה "מסלול ורוד" - מתווה פיצויים ייעודי שהציע פיצוי ללא צורך בהוכחת נזק, ועודדה את החקלאים לחזור ולעבד את האדמות תחת אש. אלא שלטענת העותרים, לאחר שהוגשו התביעות ואף שולמו מקדמות, המדינה נסוגה מהמתווה, דחתה תביעות בנימוק של "היעדר הוכחה של קשר סיבתי ונזק", והפעילה "מכבש לחצים ואיומים" כדי שיסכימו לפשרות בסכומים נמוכים משמעותית. משרד ארנון, תדמור-לוי נמנה עם עשרות משרדי עורכי הדין המובילים בישראל שחתמו על הצהרה משותפת, שלפיה שלטון החוק אינו עמדה פוליטית אלא הבסיס לקיומה של ישראל כמדינה דמוקרטית. ההצהרה מדגישה כי כל רשויות השלטון מחויבות לפעול בהתאם לדין ולכבד את פסיקות בתי המשפט, וכי פגיעה בעיקרון זה מערערת את שלטון החוק, את הוודאות המשפטית ואת ההגנה על זכויות האזרחים. גאים לקחת חלק, שנה נוספת, בפעילות ההתנדבות של משרדנו עם עמותת דארנא. השנה, על רקע המצב הביטחוני, לא התאפשר לנו לקיים את המשפט המבוים השנתי כפי שתוכנן, אך חלף המשפט המבוים זכינו למפגש מיוחד ומעשיר לא פחות במשרדנו . שמחנו לארח את הנערים ואת הצוות המסור של דארנא למפגש משמעותי, שכלל שתי הרצאות מרתקות. ההרצאה הראשונה, בנושא משפטים מפורסמים ובעלי השפעה בישראל, הועברה על ידי עורכי הדין סיון גילרון דותן ורן עזיאל, שמובילים את פעילות ההתנדבות מול העמותה לאורך השנים. ההרצאה השנייה הועברה על ידי היזם שחר רז מחברת קונטמפו, לקוח המשרד, ששיתף את הנערים בסיפור דרכו האישי והמקצועי ועורר השראה בכולנו. אנו גאים להיות חלק מהעשייה החשובה של דארנא, ושמחים בכל פעם מחדש לפגוש את היצירתיות, הסקרנות וחוכמת החיים שהנערים מביאים איתם לכל מפגש. We were delighted to take part in the annual European Law Group (ELG) Conference, held this year in Thessaloniki, Greece. Our firm was represented by Adv. Ofer Bar-On, Leading Partner and Head of the Local Authorities Practice at Arnon, who joined legal professionals from across Europe for a valuable exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships with colleagues from different jurisdictions, share professional insights, and further expand our firm's international collaborations. We extend our sincere thanks to our hosts, Margaropoulos & Associates - Law Firm, for their outstanding organization and warm hospitality. Alongside the professional program, participants also enjoyed exploring Thessaloniki's rich history and culture through visits to some of the city's most iconic landmarks and museums.
