Today the New Milk is Born!
Aviv Wolff, Remilk’s co-founder and CEO sent a very personal message to the Remilk team early this morning
Dear Remilkers,
Five years ago, this was science fiction, maybe even a good joke.
“Milk without cows. Come on!!”
Five years passed, five years of dogged determination, breakthroughs and above all, Remilk magic.
Five years of failed experiments, of nights that we often asked ourselves if this is really possible. Maybe it really is science fiction.
And here we are.
Not by accident. Every time that something failed, we picked it up again. Each time that something needed fixing, we fixed it.
Now we know that this is the only way – relentless optimism.
As a result of your work,
Because of each and every one of you, who poured your ‘all’ into this enterprise, that we built together. As a result of your getting up every morning and moving the mountain just a little bit more.
I now understand that I imagined this moment awhile ago, when I was a little kid, and people would ask me what I want to do when I grow up. I didn’t know how it would look. I didn’t know exactly what I would do. But I did know that this is how it would feel, like this. That moment when we understand that we have done something really big.
And today, the world will see what we did.
Today, the first Remilk bottle will be opened in Israel. Here. At home.
And if in the last five years, we turned science fiction into reality, what will we achieve in the next five? The world won’t be the same. Today we proved that that is possible.
