We just dropped our first-ever State of Websites Report to give business owners, creators, and web professionals a grounded view of where the web is actually heading. Not hype, just data. The pace of building sites has never been faster — time to publish dropped 50% in just one year. But speed is just the headline. Here's what else stood out from the data: → 66% of published sites now have a custom domain — up from 26% just three years ago. → Sites with structured data markup earn 2x more revenue and get 9x more traffic. → Direct traffic to Wix sites in the US hit 1.74B unique visitors in 2025 — up 71% since 2020. → AI platforms now ping nearly 700,000 Wix sites every month. But here's the thing: faster doesn't mean less human. 90% of Wix Harmony users still edit their most brand-sensitive details by hand. Speed and creative control aren't a trade-off anymore.
