What does it take to build India’s next-gen higher education ecosystem? At the recently held Future Ready Universities Conference for Higher Education Institutes of Delhi/NCR region, there was a powerful fireside conversation between Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of NEP 2020 Review Committee and Former Chairman UGC and Pradeep Gupta, CMD CyberMedia Group. Several hard truths and bold ideas emerged from the discussion on Building Next-Gen Higher Education Ecosystem: - Universities must move beyond being “degree factories” to becoming capability builders - The future will reward skills, critical thinking, and innovation—not just certificates - Students should have the flexibility to pause, explore, and return to education—without stigma - Multidisciplinary learning is essential Institutions must shift focus from placements to student outcomes and achievements - Education cannot remain elitist as the real talent lies in rural, remote, and underserved sections There’s no dearth of talent or infrastructure in India. We just need to unlock mindset shifts. He explained that our education system once enabled openness, inclusivity, and multidisciplinary learning. NEP 2020 is an opportunity to bring that spirit back—while preparing students for an AI-driven, rapidly evolving world. The discussion also highlighted that in order to compete globally, we must strengthen our PhD and research ecosystems because that’s how real innovations will emerge. There’s an urgent need to align education with aspirations of a highly ambitious youth population The message was clear: Universities that adapt will lead Those that don’t risk becoming irrelevant #HigherEducation #NEP2020 #FutureOfWork #DigitalTransformation #IndiaEducation

The next chapter of India’s automotive growth may well be written in South India. What sets the region apart is not just the scale of OEM investments, but the strength of the underlying ecosystem - supplier depth, export connectivity, engineering capability, and policy alignment. As the industry accelerates toward EVs, hybrids, and smarter manufacturing, South India is becoming more than a production base; it is emerging as a strategic mobility hub. #Leadership #Automotive #EV #Manufacturing #Mobility #IndustryTrends #SouthIndia #ElectricVehicles #AutoIndustry #Investment #SupplyChain CyberMedia Research

India’s MSMEs are rewriting their growth playbook. A new study by CyberMedia Research (CMR) finds that nearly eight in ten MSMEs (78%) now rank operational efficiency as their top business priority for the year ahead — outpacing revenue growth (71%) and customer acquisition (64%). The findings suggest MSMEs are shifting focus toward improving productivity, optimizing resources, and strengthening operational resilience in a dynamic business environment. Structured digital advisory support is emerging as a key enabler in this shift. 76% of digitally aware MSMEs actively seek digital advisory guidance.
