The Forum offered deep insights into how policy support and innovation must align to accelerate India’s transition towards a low-carbon and resilient future. Key themes that guide future pathways for us moving ahead: *Green Growth Through Energy Security A recurring focus across sessions was the close link between energy demand, energy security, and sustainability. Strengthening domestic manufacturing, particularly for energy storage and clean energy components, emerged as a critical lever to reduce costs, enhance reliability, and support long-term green growth. *Policy as a Catalyst for Decarbonisation How industrial policy, production-linked incentives, and targeted subsidies can unlock private sector participation in emerging technologies such as energy storage, green hydrogen, and green ammonia. Large-scale procurement and clear policy direction were seen as essential to make new technologies commercially viable. *Finance: Bridging Ambition and Implementation Climate ambition requires capital at scale. Conversations underlined the growing importance of blended finance, hybrid capital structures, and multilateral participation to crowd in private investment, especially for technologies that are still maturing but critical for long-term decarbonisation. *Supply Chains & Clean Tech Manufacturing India’s ability to develop cutting-edge supply chains for clean energy equipment and critical minerals was widely recognised as a strategic advantage. Clean-tech manufacturing was viewed not only as a domestic priority but also as a pathway to global leadership and exports. *Energy Transition with Equity The uneven capacity across regions and states to participate in the green transition. The need for inclusive policy design, community participation, and region-specific solutions was emphasized to ensure climate action strengthens - rather than strains - food security, livelihoods, and economic stability. *From National Goals to Global Contribution India’s long-term vision including net zero commitments, sustainable living principles, smart agriculture, and a low-carbon development pathway, positions the country as a contributor to global climate solutions, and not just a participant.
