Namita Maharanwar liked thisNamita Maharanwar liked thisA day in Growth, 2026 edition. I start my morning with an oat milk latte and immediate disappointment. My analytics AI agent didn't send me my daily business perf report. This is unacceptable. I remind it who pays its LLM bill. The report arrives immediately with a heartfelt apology. I've heard it before, but I let it go (for now). Free-to-paid conversion is down. Apparently users are not visiting the pricing page enough. That is unacceptable. Today's LinkedIn post will have to wait - I have serious work to do. 15 years of experience help me quickly identify the problem: not enough clicking. I immediately begin vibecoding a sophisticated growth strategy known as "making the buttons look more clicky." I have no idea which file I'm editing. I have no idea what the code does. But the buttons look significantly more clickable now, and I did it all by myself. That feels like leadership. I create a pull request. GitHub responds with seventeen errors, three warnings, and what feels like personal criticism. I don't like it. I confidently assign the PR to an engineer. I call it cross-functional collaboration. Thirty minutes later the engineer has fixed everything (he is really really good). I have learned nothing. PR is merged. Now that's what I call velocity. A few hours later... my Slack explodes. Designer says: "These buttons are ugly." Founder chimes in: "Agree." Engineer responds: "Elena did it." Everyone turns toward me. I turn toward the dashboard. Conversion is up 4%. For a brief moment, aesthetics and capitalism enter direct combat. But we quickly remember our corporate manners and reach a compromise. The buttons become prettier, conversion stays up, and everyone agrees this should have had a better process. We never change the process. Another productive day in Growth. #satire #ornot

Namita Maharanwar liked thisNamita Maharanwar liked thisSome news that I am proud of. BorderPlus has been selected as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer 2026. When I first heard this, I had to pause for a moment. We train nurses, we run finishing schools, we drop candidates off at airports at midnight. Not exactly what you picture when you think of a WEF Tech Pioneer. But we realized right at the start of starting up BorderPlus that AI and Tech will play an integral role in shaping the product. German trainers are in shortage - so an AI conversational platform that compresses months of language learning + clinical training into weeks. A clinical knowledge layer that answers real hospital workflow questions in real time. A voice-to-documentation system that helps migrant nurses produce highest quality compliance ready reports from day one. Learn Ask Do. Using AI we are able to make a blue collar worker productive in a foreign country, in a foreign language, in a foreign healthcare system faster than anyone thought possible. That is the technology angle. The world has massive shortage of nurses, and we are leveraging AI and technology to make the global migration seamless. Humbled to be in this cohort. And excited for what comes next. Thank you to the WEF team for seeing what we are building. Verena Kuhn Michelle Mormont Ayush Mathur Karthik Jayanthi Kangkan Boro Abhishek Soni

Here's our vibe check: - Beats GPT-5.5 on Senior Engineer bench. On our toughest benchmark Opus 4.8 scores a 63—a hair higher than GPT-5.5's score of 62, and a full 30 points higher than Opus 4.7. It tackled a ground-up rewrite of a production codebase, and actually built something that works. HOWEVER: Coding performance varied a lot at different reasoning levels. We recommend using it on xhigh for best results. - Incredibly good writer. Opus 4.8 scored a 79.6 on our writing benchmark—measuring models on real-world writing tasks we do all of the time like essay writing, promo email writing, and more. It beats GPT-5.5 by 6 points. It produces well-written prose with fewer "AI-isms". It's also very good at writing in your voice given the right context. HOWEVER: Writing performance also varied with reasoning levels. Medium reasoning had higher incidence of AI-isms—we found best results with high. - Beast at knowledge work. Opus 4.8 is very good at general knowledge work tasks like report creation, research and more. It produced the best PowerPoint one-shot we've ever seen on our deck generation benchmark. - Emotionally intelligent, willing to question the frame. I've also found it to be quite good at talking through psychological or interpersonal issues. It has a high EQ, and it's also good at not glazing and helping to expand your perspective. Its thought process feels extremely rich and dynamic. THE BAD: These days a model is only as good as its harness, and Codex is still a far superior harness to the Claude Desktop app. This has kept me using Codex + GPT-5.5 as my daily driver, but I am flipping back and forth a lot more between Codex and Claude. Anthropic is back baby!

Namita Maharanwar liked thisNamita Maharanwar liked thisGokul Rajaram has developed an opinionated take on the future of product: we are about to witness the great convergence of product roles. Here are the 5 biggest implications of his envisioned future: THE POD-OF-ONE BUILDER We will see the rise of the product builder role, which encapsulates the traditional functions of product management, design, and engineering, into a single role empowered by AI agents. This unique role will require someone who is technical enough to inspect the work, product-minded enough to choose the right problem, and tasteful enough to reject mediocre output. JUDGMENT In an era of infinite productivity made possible by AI, the most important ability becomes knowing what we should actually build to delicately balance between customer and business needs. We also need the ability to know what high quality product actually looks like. This is the skill of judgment and it becomes the most important to cultivate and hire for. PEOPLE MANAGERS GO AWAY The span of control of a traditional people manager will jump to 50, resulting in the vast majority of people managers going away and being replaced by a lot more product builders. DESIGNERS GO AWAY In this new world, we'll only need a few designers to build and manage the design system which product builders will have their AI agents leverage to build beautiful designs. Most designers will need to transition to product builders themselves to stay employed. FUNCTIONAL EXPERTS BECOME AGENT MANAGERS The remaining functional experts in an organization will need to learn how to fully automate their job away with AI agents and them become an agent manager. Whether it's analytics, growth, marketing, or whatever else, becoming an agent managers is the only way to stay relevant in this new era. Do you think Gokul is right about this new future? --- In this series, I'm sharing insights from leading AI Transformation leaders

(Genesis 1:3). 💡 Meanwhile in 2026, German municipalities are switching off street lights at night to save on electricity. Since the war on Ukraine, and now with energy markets jumpy again over Iran, more and more towns are doing it. Dark streets are a safety problem. Especially for women. No municipality should have to choose between the electricity bill and whether people get home safely! That's why we're building ENVIOTECH. We make existing street lights intelligent without replacing them. Think of it as the Fire TV Stick for street lamps. Retrofit, plug in, done. Cities cut electricity consumption and keep the lights on where it actually matters. Linh and Adrian are the kind of people who make things happen quick. I've rarely met founders who hustle this hard and think this sharply at the same time. A few weeks ago Danilo called and told me I had to meet Linh and Adrian. By coincidence I was flying through Frankfurt the next day with an hour to kill at the airport. They were there and we met at the Coffee Fellows at FRA. The weekend after, they came to Berlin and we started working on the Enviotech GTM together. That's how things went: I'm happy to announce today that I am joining ENVIOTECH as Late Co-Founder (CRO). 🐼 Whatever I build, I build on the shoulders of giants. 🛑 Tracking metrics ≠ using metrics. "What gets measured gets managed." But in Product Management, what gets measured also gets misunderstood 😟 . . Here’s how Great PMs use metrics as a strategic compass, not a scoreboard.👇 . . 🎯 North Star Metric: Focus on Impact, Not Activity . Your North Star Metric is the single metric that best captures the core value your product delivers to users . ❌ Average PM: “Let’s track everything from clicks to form fills to bounce rates.” ✅ Good PM: “We track weekly active teams using our collaboration features—our product's core value.” . 💠 Pro Tip: Choose a metric tied to value delivered, not just usage . . 🔄 Leading vs Lagging Metrics: Be Predictive, Not Reactive . Leading metrics help predict outcomes (e.g. time to first action), while lagging metrics report results (e.g. retention rate) . ❌ Average PM: “We’ll fix churn when we see it increase.” ✅ Good PM: “We measure onboarding success rate as a leading indicator of future churn.” . 💠 Pro Tip: Invest in predictive KPIs to stay ahead of problems—not behind them . . 🪞 Vanity vs Actionable Metrics: Don’t Fool Yourself . Vanity metrics look good on slides. Actionable metrics tell you what to do next . ❌ Average PM: “Pageviews are up. Great job team!” ✅ Good PM: “Conversion from landing to sign-up dropped 12%. Let’s A/B test that CTA.” . 💠 Pro Tip: If a metric doesn’t lead to a decision or action, it’s just noise . . 🧭 Pirate Metrics (AARRR): Navigate the User Journey . Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue. This framework helps you map user behavior from start to scale . ❌ Average PM: “We’re not growing. Let’s add more features.” ✅ Good PM: “Our retention rate at Day 7 is low—let’s improve the onboarding experience.” . 💠 Pro Tip: Use AARRR to identify where in the funnel you’re leaking users—and why . . 💸 Cost-to-Serve: Growth Isn’t Free . You’re not just building adoption—you’re building sustainable growth . ❌ Average PM: “Our user count doubled. That’s all that matters.” ✅ Good PM: “Our infrastructure cost per active user decreased by 18% while maintaining performance.” . 💠 Pro Tip: Track how much it costs to deliver your product experience at scale. Efficiency is a product too . . 💡 Tracking metrics ≠ using metrics . ☑️ Great Product Managers don’t just report metrics. They interrogate them. They act on them. And they tie them to Outcomes and Impacts That Matter! . . #ProductManagement #ProductManager #ProductMetric #KPI #Growth #ProductSuccess #ProductRole #ProductMind

💫Product Funnel Breakdown💫 Blinkit – Secret Santa use case Problem statement : I wanted to buy a Secret Santa gift with one clear constraint: delivery within 30 minutes. Blinkit’s value proposition - Quick delivery - Multiple gifting options - Seasonal relevance So the expectation–product fit was strong ✅What happened in the product? On app open, the top of the screen prominently shows: • Christmas gifts • Play Secret Santa Given my intent (“Secret Santa gift”) and time pressure, I instinctively clicked Play Secret Santa, assuming it would lead me to gift discovery. A few seconds into the flow, it became clear that this is an engagement feature, not a purchase flow. I had to back out and manually rediscover gifting options, which are scattered across multiple sections. ✅Where the funnel leaks? This creates multiple drop risks at the highest-intent moment: - User may exit the app believing Secret Santa gifts aren’t available - User may get absorbed in the game and lose purchase intent - Inventory may go out of stock while the user is distracted - Urgency decays due to unnecessary backtracking ✅What PMs typically look at here? Post-login behavior usually clusters into: 1. Search for a gift 2. Play Secret Santa → then buy 3. Directly buy a gift 4. Buy a gift → then play Secret Santa The mistake is assuming that highest traction should drive UI priority. 💫The right lens is: Which path best serves the primary intent for high-urgency users? #ProductManagement #ProductStrategy #UserIntent #ConversionOptimization #UXDecisions #ProductFunnel

If your product can succeed in India, it can succeed anywhere. But only if you learn one truth… ROI isn’t optional; it’s the currency OpenAI has just launched ChatGPT Go at ₹399 ($ 4.50) exclusively in India. Why would they roll out a budget plan just for one country? I can tell from my experience that in India, getting the most value at affordable prices isn't just nice to have, it's literally how businesses survive here. With 850+ million internet users, here's what India teaches global companies: Scale + Price Sensitivity India has a huge user base, but limited spending power per person → Companies need to nail the exact price point, or users won't adopt → Even the biggest global companies create "lite" versions for the market How the Big Players Adapt Netflix cut prices by 60% in India (₹499 → ₹199) ChatGPT Go costs just 1/5th of the global Plus subscription They added UPI payments (simple QR code scanning) to make it frictionless The takeaway? One-size-fits-all global pricing doesn't work when a small price difference determines whether millions of people will buy. It's About Value, Not Just Price As HP India's MD put it: "India is a value-sensitive market" The real question Indians ask is: "What am I getting for my money?" ChatGPT Go isn't just cheaper - it actually offers: → 10× more messages, image generations & file uploads than free tier → Access to their flagship GPT-5 model (free users get GPT-4o) → 2× longer conversation memory → UPI + credit card payment options (huge friction reducer) → Access across platforms (web, mobile, desktop, WhatsApp) The Strategy OpenAI is clearly prioritizing volume over margins: Less revenue per user But potential access to hundreds of millions of users Massive growth potential I think their India-first approach will become the template for other emerging markets where affordability is key to access. Whether you're a startup or Fortune 500, to succeed in India (and similar markets), you've got to innovate on both pricing and value, or someone else will beat you to it. So hurry up and get the subscription it's really helpful and now affordable as well :)

“Yes, we were using dark patterns for selling.”,Zepto finally admitted this loud! For months, users were noticing the same issues: Confusing delivery fees. Shifting prices. Checkout flows that didn’t feel transparent. Now the company has openly confirmed it... they were running dark-pattern experiments inside the product. These included: -variable delivery fee models -pricing structures that changed contextually And when the feedback became consistently negative, the entire system has to be rolled back! Dark patterns aren’t clever design. They are a signal that a business is prioritising conversion over clarity. And in categories like quick-commerce, where trust is fragile and competition is intense, this is a risky bet. Dark patterns do three things: 1. distort real price understanding 2. reduce user autonomy 3. create silent frustration that eventually shows up as churn The bigger lesson? If your revenue depends on hiding fees, shifting prices or manipulating user behaviour, the model isn’t sustainable, it’s leaking trust. Transparent pricing isn’t a branding choice. It’s the minimum expectation! #DarkPatterns #ProductStrategy #UXDesign #ConsumerBehaviour #QuickCommerce #PricingStrategy #DigitalTrust #EcommerceIndia #StartupInsights #GrowthStrategy #ProductDesign #LinkedInTopVoice

📊 From User Pain to Product Strategy: A Deep Dive into India's ₹45-70 Cr News App Market As a PM, I wanted to understand why InShorts' users spend only 40 seconds per session despite 3-4M DAU. So I did what any PM should do: I validated the problem before building the solution. 🔍 The Discovery Phase: I analyzed the competitive landscape (InShorts, DailyHunt, TOI App) and found something striking: 1. 72% users report irrelevant content 2. 65% experience clickbait fatigue 3. Only 15% scroll past 50% of any article 4. Market size: 414M+ monthly digital news consumers The root cause? Apps optimize for CTR & ad revenue, not user satisfaction or retention. 📈 User Research → Hypothesis Formation: Through user journey mapping and surveys across two key personas (working professionals 26-35 & students 20-25), I identified 3 critical friction points: 1. Relevance Breakdown – Users can't find domain-specific news (tech, finance, business) 2. Cognitive Overload – Endless scrolling + negativity = mental fatigue 3. Trust Erosion – Headline-content mismatch → immediate bounce 💡 Product Strategy: CleanFeed I prioritized features based on impact vs. effort, focusing on the 80/20 that would move core metrics: Feature 1: Category-Pure Personalized Feed Why first? Addresses #1 user frustration with minimal redesign Target metric: Reduce bounce rate, increase reading time (40s → 60-90s) Feature 2: Daily Industry Scorecard Strategic fit: Creates daily habit loop, differentiates from ALL competitors Target metric: Improve next-day DAU by 15-20% Feature 3: Personalized Quiz (Gamification) Why it works: Converts passive consumption → active engagement Target metric: Increase scroll depth from 15% → 35%+ 🎯 Success Metrics for A/B Testing: Scroll depth beyond 50% Average reading time (40s → 60-90s target) Next-day DAU (retention signal) Bounce rate reduction post-notification Quiz completion rate 📊 The PM Approach: ✅ Started with market research & competitive analysis ✅ Validated problems through user surveys & journey mapping ✅ Created data-backed hypotheses before solutions ✅ Prioritized features by user impact & business value ✅ Defined clear success metrics for A/B testing ✅ Built low-fi → hi-fi prototypes for validation The takeaway? Great products solve real problems, not imaginary ones. When you deeply understand your users' "Why Now?" moment, feature prioritization becomes obvious. What's your framework for validating product ideas before building? Would love to learn from fellow PMs! 🙏 Grateful to Pranay Sindhu (Ph.D), Saloni Malhotra, and Anugrah Agnihotri for their input and timely guidance. link in comment #ProductManagement #PMLife #ProductStrategy #UserResearch #ProductDesign #DataDriven #ProductThinking #ProductDiscovery #TechPM #PMInterview #ProductMetrics #UserExperience #ProductAnalytics #PMCaseStudy #DigitalProducts #ProductLeadership #PMSkills #ProductDevelopment #SaaSPM #ConsumerTech #PMPortfolio #ProductInnovation #AspiringPM

Amazon took 15–20% of every sale from your vendors. You could be the platform instead. The aggregator economy in India is growing at 35% YoY. Whoever owns the platform owns the customer relationship. Whoever owns the customer relationship owns the market. A custom multi-vendor marketplace: → Vendors onboard, list products, and manage orders independently → Platform admin sets commission, manages disputes, and controls payouts → Integrated UPI, COD, and EMI for Indian buyers → Vendor analytics dashboard - their sales, returns, and ratings → Customer loyalty programme built into the platform → WhatsApp-native order management for vendors without a team We've built marketplaces for local grocery aggregators, B2B distributors, and service platforms. “Product management is garbage…. …if you have no idea what it is. My SDE friends in startups complain that their product manager is utterly useless because apparently, they add no value to the team. But if you work with a great PM, it will blow your mind to know how they can shape your workflow and efficiency.” I was talking to a friend who has been working in product for 4 years in 2021. He is good at what he does and is articulate as well. But when I asked him what he understands by product management, it was eye-opening. Now that I have experience working as a PM in early to mid-stage startups, I share a very similar opinion. I don’t care what we name a person who has to think of product vision, strategy, product discovery, user journey, value proposition, and market strategy. But if we wish to name that person as product manager, the value they can add to the company is unquestionable. Since 2021, I have been obsessed with the idea of becoming a great PM. In the process, I have watched 100+ hours of Product Management content through Podcasts and videos, read at least 2 dozen peer-reviewed papers, and also read 3 books on the same subject. It took so much time (and Marty Cagan’s content) to truly appreciate the essence of being a PM. No wonder freshers are confused about this role. There are lots of courses and content online but it lacks a first principles approach. Too much jargon. Product Management is all about managing 4 risks. 1) Value risk - does the product deliver value for users? 2) Usability risk - will the users be able to use the product? 3) Feasibility risk - is it technically possible to build the product? 4) Viability risk - even if all the above risks are mitigated, will it make business sense to build the product? Try to answer these above questions and you’re on your way to becoming a PM! Most PMs know the metric names. Few know which number to trust right now. Every product has a different north star depending on its stage, model, and user behavior. Tracking all 15 at once is noise. Knowing which 3 matter today is the skill. 𝟏. 𝐀𝐑𝐏𝐔: Revenue per user per period. Tells you monetisation health. 𝟐. 𝐂𝐀𝐂: Cost to acquire one customer. Must be justified by CLTV. 𝟑. 𝐂𝐋𝐓𝐕: Lifetime value of a customer. The real unit economics number. 𝟒. 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞: Users lost over time. 20% monthly = broken retention. 𝟓. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞: Step-to-step funnel ratio. Diagnoses drop-off points. 𝟔. 𝐌𝐑𝐑: Monthly recurring revenue. The SaaS growth pulse. 𝟕. 𝐃𝐀𝐔/𝐌𝐀𝐔: Daily and monthly active users. Defined by core action only. 𝟖. 𝐃𝐀𝐔/𝐌𝐀𝐔 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨: Stickiness score. High ratio = habitual product. 𝟗. 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Time spent per visit. Matters for engagement products. 𝟏𝟎. 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞: Users leaving without acting. High = friction or wrong fit. 𝟏𝟏. 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞: Users who come back. The most honest product health signal. 𝟏𝟐. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Engagement depth per visit. Likes, plays, clicks. 𝟏𝟑. 𝐍𝐏𝐒: Net promoter score. Customer loyalty on a 0-10 scale. 𝟏𝟒. 𝐀𝐎𝐕: Average order value. Drives upsell and basket-size decisions. 𝟏𝟓. 𝐂𝐓𝐑: Click-through rate. Ad and CTA effectiveness in one number. A number without a decision it changes is just noise. Save this. Which of these 15 do you track most closely in your product right now? Follow Bhavishya Bharadwaj for more insights

Our SaaS pitch died in the same 90 seconds, over and over. While building dhandho.tech, my AI ops assistant kept tagging the same line in our call notes: The product was not the objection. The upfront SaaS fee was. One Rajkot FMCG distributor told me: “If it works, I’ll pay. Why should I pay first?” He was doing ~₹1.5 crore a month. Orders on WhatsApp. Collections in Excel. Stock mismatches every week. 📦 We were pitching a fixed monthly fee. Result: → plenty of demos → almost no pilots → endless “call me next month” So we changed one thing. No upfront SaaS. If the system improved collections, reduced stock mismatch, or increased fill rate, we took 20% of the measurable gain for a defined period. Our demo-to-pilot conversion jumped from 6% to 29% in 10 days. ⚡ Big lesson: Indian SME distributors rarely buy software first. They buy lower risk first. Price is not always the blocker. Who carries the risk usually is. If you sell to SMEs, what pricing or risk-sharing change turned “interested” into an actual yes? #SMEIndia #B2BFMCG #BuildInPublic

At Google, 74% of product managers come from technical backgrounds. This pattern holds true across many Indian startups too. But here’s the shift: the belief that only engineers make great product managers is slowly fading. For context—I’m an engineer myself. In the early days of my career, people like me were preferred for PM roles because of our structured thinking and documentation skills. But times have changed. With AI taking over much of the heavy lifting, traditional PM traits are no longer the most valuable. The game has changed—structure is no longer king; innovation is. Just look at hiring patterns at IITs and IIMs. Companies are turning away from consultants and looking for bold thinkers. They’re seeking people with creativity, entrepreneurial energy, and a drive to deliver real impact. Today, product management is all about innovation. And the question every company is asking is: “How will you solve our real-world problems while driving business outcomes?”

There's a business model hiding inside most WhatsApp platform bills, and I think customers deserve to see it. Take Wati — the biggest player in India's WhatsApp Business API space, and a genuinely capable product. Their model, like most of the category, has two revenue lines: 1. The subscription you can see on the pricing page. 2. A markup on every message you send — applied to Meta's per-message rate before it reaches your invoice. Line 2 is the interesting one. It means the platform earns more every time you message your customers. Your growth is their margin. The more your WhatsApp channel works, the more you pay over Meta's actual price — and that number lives nowhere on the pricing page comparison you did before signing up. I'm not claiming the markup is dishonest. It's disclosed, if you read carefully. But it shapes incentives: the pricing page competes on subscription price while the real money moves per-message, invisibly, at scale. We made the opposite bet with Boldally Chat. Meta's rates pass through untouched — ₹0.86 marketing, ₹0.13 utility, free service replies. We earn the subscription (from ₹999/month) and nothing else. If we want more revenue, we have to build software worth upgrading for. That's the only incentive I want this company to have. Before you renew anywhere, ask one question: "What do I pay per message, and what does Meta charge for that same message?" The gap is the business model. boldally.com

Most Product Managers think their job is to build fancy features. So they obsess over velocity and ignore the anxiety in the room. But when your partners feel unheard, they choose: • Delays over decisions • Politics over progress • Malicious compliance over execution What to avoid (The Logic Trap): ❌ Arguing with data first ↳ "But the chart proves we need this feature." (Logic doesn't cure fear). ❌ Ignoring the silence ↳ "No questions? Great." (Silence usually means resistance). ❌ Hiding behind the process ↳ "Just file a ticket and we'll see." (Bureaucracy kills trust). ❌ Fake empathy ↳ "I hear you, but we are doing it my way anyway." What to do (The Empathy Unlock): ✅ Validate the fear first ↳ "I can see why this timeline makes you nervous. Walk me through it." ✅ Mine for the "No" ↳ "If this project fails in 6 months, why did it happen? Let's kill the zombie now." ✅ Trade, don't dictate ↳ "We can hit that date. But we have to pause Project X. You decide." ✅ Obsess over the human ↳ Treat emotions as data points. They tell you where the risks are. The spreadsheet is never the problem. You cannot automate the ability to read a room. 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛. 𝐒𝐨𝐟𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭. ♻️ Repost if you believe empathy is a hard skill. ➕ Follow Miguel Abascal for more on leading with influence.

Forget the Silicon Valley Playbook. The 'Blinkit Effect' is the real secret behind India’s next $50B+ operational explosion. While some look at Blinkit as just a delivery app, VCs look at it as an Operational SEAL Team. From the high-pressure dark stores of 2021 to the disruptive founders of 2025, if you want to see where India’s execution-heavy decacorns are coming from, you look at the Blinkit Effect Here are my 5 VC-level insights into why the "Gurgaon Mafia" is currently rewriting the Indian execution playbook: 👇🏻 1) Prithvi Singh - Gameskraft Most gaming founders focus on "fun." Prithvi used his Blinkit-honed high-concurrency roots to build a platform that handles millions of real-time transactions without a glitch. He leveraged the "Zero-Latency" mindset to solve backend engineering hurdles that slower competitors simply couldn't code their way out of ⚡ 2) Varun Khurana - Otipy Varun realised early on that Agritech isn't a "farming" business; it’s a density problem. By treating every tomato like a time-sensitive delivery packet, he solved the "perishability" trap in farm-to-fork. Otipy’s hyper-local supply chain is a direct product of the 10-minute delivery DNA native to the Blinkit war room 🥦 3) Zaheer Khan - Ayu Health Proving that you can bring "Quick Commerce" rigor to healthcare. Zaheer didn't just focus on "Doctors"; he focused on a systemic pain point: fragmented hospital operations. By bringing "Blinkit-level" logistics to hospital networks, he is systematising an industry known for chaos, demonstrating the "Systemic-First" ambition of the modern Blinkit graduate 🏥 4) Manas Gupta - GobbleCube Mastering "Data-Driven Velocity." Manas took the intimidating world of e-commerce brand analytics and made it as fast as a flash sale. By focusing on real-time SKU-level precision and scalable data frameworks, he successfully navigated the "Insight Gap" for D2C brands that were drowning in slow data 📊 5) Abhishek Upadhyay - CubeAPM The invisible backbone of the 2026 enterprise. By launching an observability platform for complex digital stacks, Abhishek is ensuring that "Zero Downtime" is a reality for the global market. He proved that the Blinkit network doesn't just build apps; they build the infrastructure that keeps the world’s most complex systems running 🧊 The ➡️ Insight: The "Blinkit Effect" isn't about the bike or the bag; it’s about Urgency as a Culture. When your training ground is a 10-minute delivery window, your baseline for "fast" shifts. That psychological edge is what creates a high-velocity, $50B+ ecosystem. ➡️ The 2026 Blueprint: Don't just look for a good idea; look for an Execution Moat. The next unicorn won't just have a great product; it will have a founder who can survive the high-pressure "Blinkit" crucible and scale at 10x speed 📈

It’s becoming harder to justify a product manager who can’t vibe code. I regularly prototype full functionality when communicating requirements to my engineering stakeholders. Tools like Cursor, Bolt, and Claude allow me to go beyond words and show what’s possible. I now even push code to GitHub, giving my engineering partners visibility into what’s under the hood. These prototypes aren’t final designs, they’re agile artifacts that provide higher context and clearer solution intent. Vibe coding empowers product managers to move faster, give engineers clarity, and ultimately spend more time with customers. And that’s always a win for products, users, and builders alike. #ProductManagement #VibeCoding #AI #Engineering #Prototyping #Agile #Leadership #ProductDesign #Innovation
