Okay, social did NOT sit still this month. TikTok banned AI voices from live selling. YouTube cut off the AI-slop money. Instagram's burying anything too polished. Notice the theme? Every one of these is a platform betting on real people over the machine-made stuff. You can probably guess where we land on that one. That's three shifts. The other four are one swipe away 👀

Oh no, is this the "nobody buys in summer" plan again? Depends entirely on what you sell. Apparel just tied its best month of the whole year, last August. Toys & Games sat below break-even the same month, because nobody buys a toy in August without a birthday attached. So one of them should be scaling right now. The other should barely be spending. The real trap is grading yourself against "the average brand." The average is nobody. Where your category actually landed, month by month, is on the link in the comments. 😉

Nice meme. Nobody actually coasts to their Q3 goals though, and we're still grinding on ours. What actually gets between you and your Q3 numbers usually isn't strategy. It's that your best ad gets tired fast. The one crushing it this week starts slipping a couple of weeks later, CPMs creep up, and the winner you were leaning on starts costing more for less. Textbook ad fatigue. The usual fix is slow. Book another shoot, brief it, wait two weeks, and hope the new video lands as well as the last one. Billo skips that step. AI Ad Variations takes an ad that's already working and spins fresh takes off it in minutes. Switch the hook, trim it tighter, or remix two winners into something new. Same proven creator video, several new versions, no reshoot, no new brief. You're extending something that already converts. With $269M in ad spend run through Billo creators, refreshing winners like this is a well-worn play, not a lab experiment. Refresh the creative before fatigue costs you ROAS. Then you can actually lie down.

Everyone's joking that we accidentally volunteered ourselves for more work. ...And honestly? Kind of. But that's what a strong first half does. You walk out with a bit more confidence than sense. Lately, we've: - Grew Q2 revenue 38% YoY - Created 22% more creator jobs - Worked with 4,500+ brands and agencies over the last 12 months - Welcomed some of our biggest customers yet, including a top-tier US tech company we (unfortunately) can't name - Delivered our most profitable half ever, while still investing in the foundations and the team building the most scalable creator marketing platform we can Nobody left Town Hall thinking "work harder." The message was simpler. Stay on the same mountain. Our strategy hasn't changed. H1 was about building the brain. H2 is about doubling down on creators. More creator earnings, a better creator experience, more opportunities. Because when creators grow, brands perform. Now... excuse us while we pretend we didn't just sign up for an even bigger second half. 😅

UGC isn't the advantage. Almost everyone has UGC. The advantage is keeping the creator at the center of the paid experience. 🚀 3 out of 4 consumers prefer creator content over traditional ads. 🚀 Nearly half are more likely to purchase after discovering products through Reels. Consumers don't just judge the creative. They judge the messenger. That's why Partnership Ads have become an essential part of modern creator marketing. They keep the creator, not the brand, at the center of the ad experience, helping brands preserve the trust that made the content perform in the first place. With Billo, you can launch Partnership Ads in just a few clicks and run campaigns directly through the creator's handle, making it easy to scale creator-led campaigns without adding complexity to your workflow. Are Partnership Ads already part of your paid social strategy, or are you still running creator content only from your brand account?

Turns out standing on a bed of nails isn't the most uncomfortable part of building a company. Scaling is. Every startup talks about ambitious goals. Fewer talk about what those goals demand from the people chasing them. That's why our summer offsite wasn't about escaping work. It was about making sure we come back stronger than we left. The higher you climb, the more pressure there is. The only question is whether your team breaks under it... or grows through it. Here's our CEO, Donatas, reflecting on H1, what challenged us most, and the mindset we're taking into H2. What's one thing your team does to stay strong when the pressure is on?

We came to the summer party for margaritas. Our founders came in their full longevity era. So no bar. Gong therapy instead. A spa, yes, but also breathwork, and a few brave souls barefoot on an actual bed of nails. 🔥 And the humiliating part? It WORKED. Everyone made it through Town Hall genuinely present, nobody white-knuckling a hangover at the 9:30 session, the whole team weirdly glowing by the yoga cooldown. Best offsite we've run. We're just not going to tell the founders they were right.
