  • Partnership ecosystems can unlock valuable new avenues for growth, but they are most effective when supported by a clear and aligned distribution strategy.   Recently at ITC Asia 2026, Ross Bethell, Head of Partnerships, QBE Asia, joined industry leaders for a panel discussion on Insurance Ecosystem Strategy: Building Partnerships That Scale Revenue.   Ross shared an important perspective: ecosystems do not replace distribution strategy. They enhance it. Success depends on thoughtful distribution design, strong alignment between partners and a clear understanding of the value each partnership delivers to customers.   As insurance ecosystems continue to evolve, the most effective partnerships will be those built around shared objectives, complementary capabilities and long-term value for everyone involved.   Thank you to ITC Asia for bringing together industry leaders to exchange perspectives on the future of insurance partnerships in Asia.   #QBEAsia #ITCAsia #InsurancePartnerships #InsuranceEcosystems #DistributionStrategy #FutureOfInsurance

  • Proud to see this meaningful collaboration between QBE Foundation and KOTO - Know One, Teach One Vietnam that combines skills development, sustainability, and social impact. Together, we're helping to build more sustainable communities.

🤝 Partnering for a Sustainable Future: KOTO x QBE Foundation   We are thrilled to formally share that KOTO and QBE Foundation are joining forces on an impactful new initiative: the “Sustainable Development Enhancement in Hospitality Vocational Training Program for Disadvantaged Youth”.   Behind the scenes, this project has been quietly ticking along over the past few months. Thanks to the generous support of QBE Foundation, we have been busy embedding sustainability and environmental awareness practices into both classroom learning and hands-on hospitality training at KOTO.   From mastering food waste reduction strategies such as First In, First Out (FIFO) stock management, portion control, and efficient menu planning, to implementing composting, recycling, and food repurposing practices, our trainees are learning how to minimise waste across hospitality operations. They are also exploring sustainable sourcing approaches, reducing reliance on single-use plastics through reusable alternatives, and adopting energy and water conservation techniques that support more environmentally responsible workplaces.   Through these experiences, our youth are developing the practical skills and mindset needed to lead eco-conscious operations in the modern hospitality sector.   The upcoming months are packed with exciting milestones that showcase these green skills in action, including: 🍏 Food Waste Workshops delivered in collaboration with our local project partner, VietHarvest. 🍳 A Rescued Food Cooking Competition where our trainees will put their upcycling and zero-waste culinary skills to the test. 🌱 Trainee-Led Class Sustainability Projects focusing on community environmental stewardship and organic kitchen gardening.   On behalf of the entire KOTO family, we want to express our deepest gratitude to QBE Foundation for their incredible support, vision, and investment in the future of Vietnam’s disadvantaged youth. Together, we are working towards a more sustainable tomorrow!   #KOTOVietnam #QBEFoundation #SustainabilityInHospitality #VietHarvest #GreenSkills #SocialEnterprise #TransformingLives

As captives continue to mature, they are increasingly being used to connect an organisation's balance sheet with both traditional and alternative sources of risk capital, creating greater flexibility in how risk is financed and managed.   As a sponsor of the forum, we were delighted to contribute to the conversation and engage with industry leaders on the evolving role of captives in today's risk landscape. Thank you to SCIA for hosting a valuable and thought-provoking event.   #QBE #QBEAsia #CaptiveInsurance
