John Cena SHOCKS with bald photo; fans praise actor for opening up about hair transplant - PIC
Actor and former WWE champion John Cena surprised fans by sharing a photo of his shaved head following the second round of his hair transplant treatment. The actor, took to his handle to post a photo of himself smiling away as he posed with his doctor and didn't shy away from admitting his hair restoration procedure.Cena posted a picture from the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta after undergoing a second Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure. Sharing the update, Cena wrote, "Round 2 of FUE Treatement and this time I went all in for best possible results. Thank you @KenAndersonMD and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!"
As per People, the procedure is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique in which hair follicles are taken from one area of the scalp and implanted into thinning or balding regions.Fans quickly reacted to his latest update on social media, with many applauding the actor for being transparent about undergoing hair restoration and helping reduce the stigma surrounding the procedure. One wrote, "John Cena continues to be an inspiration to us all who have gotten or want to get hair transplants. In honor of his round 2 here is a moment I got to speak with him about his."Another said, "going public with the shaved recovery photos is the real flex here, not the procedure itself.
most guys would hide this phase, he's normalizing it on purpose.""Respect to Cena for being that open about it going all in and owning the process like that just shows the same mindset he had in WWE. Legend energy stays consistent.""gotta respect him for keeping it 100 with everyone about the process," said another. The actor, who was most recently seen sharing screen space with Priyanka Chopra in 'Heads of State', has been rather candid about his decision to undergo the procedure. "They've held me accountable. They don't let you get away with phoning it in, because they'll eat you alive," he said. "That's what a good support system does."Cena added, "I saw their signs that said 'The bald John Cena.' They pushed me into going to see what my options were."Following his first transplant, Cena said the procedure had "completely changed the course of my life" and had given him greater confidence to pursue acting opportunities. The actor also spoke candidly about the stigma surrounding cosmetic procedures. "I hate the fact that if there wasn't so much shame around it, I'd have gotten it done 10 years ago," he said.Cena is currently working on Matchbox: The Movie, in which he plays Sean. The film is scheduled to be released on October 9, 2026.
