Mom-to-be Samantha Ruth Prabhu's pink saree glow-up is the only fashion fairytale we're here for

Stepping out for the thank-you meet for her latest release, the mom-to-be turned the spotlight into her personal runway as she ditched the modern silhouettes and wore a vibrant pink saree that looked equal parts unforgettable and absolutely elegant. Radiating joy, confidence, and that beautiful pregnancy glow, Samantha proved that effortless style only gets better from here.

Samantha chose a stunning fuchsia-pink silk saree featuring a deep navy-teal woven border with a traditional gold thread motif, which ran along the pallu and edges. Drenched in Kanjeevaram and linen silk, which are South India’s popular aesthetics, she chose something distinctly rooted and traditional. The saree draped in classic style with an open pallu exuded the silk’s natural lustre, giving it a rich and vibrant touch.

She brought back the long-forgotten combination of pink and blue and wore a short-sleeve, subtle, self-woven periwinkle blue-hued blouse that looked perfect against the hot pink drape. The coordinated saree-blouse combinations have recently been trending strongly in South Indian ethnic fashion, and Samantha just became the official face of it.

For her accessories, she went with a layered silver oxidised choker necklace featuring turquoise and red stone accents and next teamed it with small silver stud earrings. She wore a slim gold chain bracelet with a simple ring, which completed the look. Wearing her hair in signature voluminous waves, she swept it to one side and exuded an effortlessly glamorous touch.

Samantha officially announced her pregnancy news at the thank-you meet of her latest film ‘Maa Inti Bangaaram', where she spoke about taking a short maternity leave starting soon. Samantha married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1, 2025, at Sadhguru’s Isha Foundation in Coimbatore. The couple is now expecting their first child. She was previously married to South Indian actor Naga Chaitanya, with whom she tied the knot in 2017. The couple finalised their divorce in 2021.
