YILPORT Continues Global Investment Momentum with 53 New E-Hybrid RTG Crane Orders from Konecranes YILPORT Holding has agreed to order 53 new Konecranes E-Hybrid Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes, reinforcing its long-term growth strategy and commitment to sustainable, technology-driven terminal operations. The new fleet will be deployed across four YILPORT-operated terminals:  • 10 Automated E-Hybrid RTGs – YILPORT Liscont, Portugal  • 10 Automated E-Hybrid RTGs – YILPORT Leixões, Portugal  • 18 E-Hybrid RTGs – UPdP, El Salvador  • 15 E-Hybrid RTGs – YILPORT ATSL-Takoradi, Ghana Equipped with battery-supported E-Hybrid technology, the new RTGs will enhance yard productivity, operational resilience, energy efficiency, and environmental performance across YILPORT’s global portfolio. YILPORT Holding Participated in the Global Smart Port and Future Workforce Meeting YILPORT Holding executives participated in the Global Smart Port Vision and Future Workforce meeting hosted by NTT DATA Business Solutions During the opening session, YILPORT Holding Deputy CEO & CMO Erhan Çiloğlu shared insights into CoreX Holding and YILPORT Holding’s vision. In his remarks, he highlighted the strategic importance YILPORT places on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and technology-driven solutions. YILPORT Liscont welcomed the ONE-operated NYK Virgo, the longest container vessel ever to call at the terminal.   Arriving from Le Havre and bound for Singapore, the vessel made a scheduled call as part of the FE1 service rotation linking Northern Europe and Asia. While this was an exceptional call, rather than the launch of a new regular service, the operation demonstrated the terminal’s operational capability to accommodate vessels of this size.   Measuring 338.17 metres in overall length (LOA) and with a beam of 45.6 metres, the NYK Virgo handled a cargo operation in Lisbon involving empty containers and a number of export units.   According to Alexandre GONÇALVES, Liscont’s Operations Director, “the operation was completed smoothly, demonstrating the terminal’s ability to efficiently handle calls of this scale. Our teams’ performance was also recognised by the customer.”   This call further reinforces YILPORT Liscont’s capability to regularly accommodate larger vessels and highlights the terminal’s potential to support future long-haul liner services to the Americas, the Mediterranean and Africa, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the Port of Lisbon and Portugal’s economy and logistics sector. #YILPORTIberia #Logistics #Ports #Shipping #Maritime #Infrastructure #Innovation #SupplyChain #PortOperations #Growth
