2026 is about growth — but also about giving back. I’m really excited about what this year holds for AXIYM Accounting Ltd. Growing the client base, adding real value, and helping business owners tackle the things that genuinely cause stress — not just ticking boxes. But just as important to me is giving back to the community. I’ve always believed businesses should play a positive role in the communities they serve — not just commercially, but socially too. And for me, that means using my time to support causes that matter. This year, I’ve decided to run the Bath Half Marathon and raise money for the The Charlie Waller Trust, which supports mental health services across the UK. Mental health has become increasingly prevalent over the last decade, and too many people are still struggling to get the support they need. In my experience, it’s often the people who don’t talk about it who are the most vulnerable. When I launched AXIYM, I was incredibly lucky. So many people — many of them complete strangers at the time — were welcoming, supportive, and generous with their advice. One conversation in particular stuck with me, where someone asked not about business, but about how I was looking after my mental health while working largely on my own. That meant a lot — and it reinforced something I already believed: talking matters. If you’re struggling, reach out. Friends, family, colleagues, charities — someone will and wants to listen. My target is £300, and every contribution — big or small — genuinely helps these services continue.
