This week we unveiled the latest instalment of our collaboration with contemporary streetwear brand Represent, drawing on a shared British heritage and love for the ride. This evolution of the last drop channels high-performance graphics and ergonomic silhouettes from '80s and '90s Belstaff racing gear, driven by a deep dive into our motorcycle archives. Capturing the spirit of the collaboration, the Belstaff x Represent campaign draws on British seaside culture and the energy of the off-road motocross scene, set against the dramatic backdrop of Pendine Sands in Carmarthenshire, South Wales. This seven-mile stretch of flat shoreline is steeped in motor heritage and is famous for hosting land speed record attempts in the 1920s. For 50 years, we've been working with British Millerain to make our signature waxed cotton. Established in 1880, this world-class, family run specialist textiles manufacturer is built on generations expertise. In the 1970s, Belstaff designed a collection made for and endorsed by legendary mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington. It was one of the first of its kind to employ the use of GORE-TEX, and features some of the most sought-after archival pieces. This season, the spirit of adventure that drives pioneers like Bonington was a key inspiration for the outdoor-ready collection. It also inspired three new waterproof silhouettes in particular: the Eiger smock and jacket, and the Annapurna parka – all marked with the same limited-edition mountain logo as the 1970s originals. We've made many adaptations to make these better suited to modern life, including developing our own custom 'Mountain Shell', which combines complete waterproof protection with a slick finish.
