OF&G (Organic Farmers & Growers CIC)

OF&G (Organic Farmers & Growers CIC) is the largest certifier of organic land in the UK. We were the first body to be approved by the Government to inspect organic production and processing in the UK. In addition, OF&G works with Renewable Energy Assurance Ltd (REAL) on the inspection and certification of compost and biofertiliser (from anaerobic digestion). OF&G has its national headquarters in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and operates across Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. OF&G certifies over half the organic land in the UK. We take a strongly practical view of organic food and farming in production and processing. We believe there are no higher organic standards in the UK than OF&Gs’ and we are rigorous in applying those standards, to ensure trust in the organic sector and confidence in organic supply networks from soil to shelf.
