This week we brought together a packed room to showcase Real World Quantum Use Cases and how quantum technologies are beginning to create tangible value across industries. Kelly Shek, COO opened the event, before Dr Eloisa Angeles, Partner, moderated a series of presentations from quantum leaders who took us beyond theory and hardware roadmaps, focusing on practical applications being developed today. What a turnout for our Quantum × Blockchain event with Solana Foundation and ZAN TEAM, especially on a tube strike day! Our communities came together at QBase to explore the real impact of quantum on blockchain. The discussion moved beyond speculation to focus on what’s actually happening: how quantum is challenging cryptography, how the blockchain ecosystem is responding, and where meaningful progress is emerging across enterprise and investment. Eric Van der Kleij and Ronit Ghose (Citi Institute) opened the evening with insights on blockchain’s quantum moment - and the broader implications for security and enterprise adoption. We hosted our first Quantum Executive Education programme at QBase this week! We had a full room of senior executives from finance and industry, with several travelling from afar to join. Together, we explored the history of quantum physics, quantum technologies and its real-world applications. What stood out? A clear interest and focus on real-world application. From finance and logistics to energy and beyond, the conversation quickly moved from theory to deployment - where quantum can create tangible advantage today and in the near future.
