Next Wednesday, 10am–12 noon, hear from four innovative companies based here at Begbroke as part of our panel and networking event – “From lab to global impact: growing a successful spinout”. We are delighted that Dr Belén Arias will be one of the speakers joining us. Belén is the Science Manager for Species Discovery and Sequencing for Nekton's Ocean Census programme. Her research focuses on molecular approaches and population genomics to understand how organisms adapt to different environments and what mechanism drives their biodiversity. Nekton is an independent ocean exploration institute. Founded in 2015 with a mission to advance exploration, understanding and protection of the ocean, Nekton operates a series of global programmes and is headquartered here in Oxford.
