With over 20 years’ experience working in technology—and as co-owner of IT company Easytech, alongside my colleague Ryan Green, I’ve always had a strong interest in emerging technologies. Over the past few years, drones and video production have become a real passion of mine, and I’m excited to turn that passion into a new venture. Callum Macgregor reacted on thisGood morning, I've been struggling to find the right words to explain my situation, I really appreciate the work that has been coming in and how much goes into finding placements. I need to step away from work for an extended period to allow the medical team in oncology to help my recovery. I've been lucky to work with some amazing people on great projects over the years. Callum Macgregor reacted on thisCallum Macgregor reacted on thisI lost my mum at 19... Today is World Cancer Day, and while it’s a day for awareness and support, for me it’s also a day of reflection. I lost my mum to cancer when I was 19. She had a rare cancer called sarcoma, a cancer that affects bones and soft tissue. Rare cancers like sarcoma are often overlooked, yet they change lives just as profoundly. Looking back, this cause has stayed close to my heart. Seven years ago, I ran a marathon to raise funds for Sarcoma UK, and today feels like the right moment to continue using my voice to raise awareness for the cancers that don’t always get the spotlight. Most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer, whether personally or through family and friends. The more awareness we raise and the more support we give, the better the chances are for research, treatment, and for supporting families through the unimaginable.
