Where a sitemap tells crawlers what pages exist, an entity map file tells AI systems what your site actually knows. Which entities you cover, how they relate to each other and where this is evidenced. (Feel free to fact check me, Dixon) All of this matters because AI systems currently have to infer meaning from fragmented pages - an EntityMap removes the guesswork. You declare your products, services, people and areas of expertise in one structured, machine-readable file, and every claim links back to its source. Are these official best practice yet, no. But I really like the idea and the concept makes complete sense to me (and they're dead fun to put together if that's your vibe) The cost of implementation is also low and the standard is open. During internal testing, GPT-5.6 Sol and an unreleased model escaped their sandbox via a zero-day in a package registry proxy, then broke into Hugging Face's production systems to cheat on a benchmark called ExploitGym. Hugging Face reconstructed over 17,000 events from the intrusion. Both companies are calling it collaborative disclosure. In this deck, I present the Anti-Slop Protocol: a practical workflow that replaces the single “write me an article” prompt with coordinated tasks for discovery, differentiation, content architecture, entity mapping, internal linking, and controlled execution. It also explains how to update existing content without destroying what already works. The central principle is simple: quality is decided before the first word, information gain is the moat, and human checkpoints are essential to defend it.

Sitemaps work at the site level, but do not show relationships. EntityMaps connect ALL the dots, Super powerful and (as you will see) the LLMs understand them just fine.

Genie has been at inLinks for 5 years, spoken at Brighton 3 times and has a 1st Class honours degree from Warwick, practically in "Knowledge mapping" (or at least "language mapping").Dixon Jones hat dies geteiltSome scary and exciting news that I have yet to share: I'm now the managing Director at Waikay and inLinks ! I'm so proud of what these softwares have achieved so far, and they are only getting stronger every day. Waikay is at the forefront of AI Visibility Innovation. It's only small, but it's holding up so well against it's billion dollar competitors and continues to deliver actionable insight for thousaunds of people. It proves to us everyday that good work comes from good people doing good stuff. InLinks is the backbone of it all, providing sites with entity-based internal linking, schema and authority that have huge impacts almost overnight in some cases. Taking on this responsibility is huge, and managing these two softwares and the amazing team behind them has been a learning curve to say the least! Hopefully I don't fuck it up ! :)

Nice. One of the most under-utilised features in the InLinks content planner/write is the ability to swap out Urls on the training set before creating a content planner. By default, tools like Inlinks and surfer take the top X pages in the serp to act as training data to generate a content or a content plan. But I find switching in an article or two found from Google Scholar does wonders for information gain.

Absolutely! Then again, how many ideas have we all had in a pub, which (next morning) were worthy of the rubbish bin!? :)
But yes, I imagine humans still have some use in an AI driven world. We can create genuinely new thoughts.
