Sharing Federated Output Checking Principles at the TREvolution Collaboration Cafe ☕️ Our Data Connect Research Project Manager, Diane Pallister, and Kate O’Sullivan (Research Data Scotland) welcomed SMEs, Trusted Research Environment (TRE) operational staff, and public and patient contributors to this month’s TREvolution Collaboration Cafe They shared federated Output Statistical Disclosure Control (OSDC), methodology and operational insights drawn from PANORAMA (Pan-North Data Research Advancements for Multi-Domain Access and Analysis) - a DARE UK Early Adopter project. We are delighted that during #LondonLifeSciencesWeek we can confirm that four NHS-led ‘Driver Projects’ will help to showcase the potential of the new London Secure Data Environment (SDE), while delivering health improvement benefits for Londoners. These 'Driver Projects' will demonstrate the power of secure, connected data at city scale ahead of the full launch of the London SDE next year. The projects are:  ☑️ Project CARDINAL – Improving how we prevent, detect and treat cardiovascular disease across London.  ☑️ MINDS–LC – Building a comprehensive linked dataset to transform mental health support for children and young people.  ☑️ RADIX – Tackling antimicrobial resistance through real-time data on infection, prescribing and microbiology.  ☑️ OncoLlama – A national exemplar research that uses an AI tool to securely extract clinical information from text documents to help researchers understand cancer patterns, improve services and accelerate clinical trials.
