As a head of social or a creative director you need to plug into a campaign and be able to bring in creatives who will drop everything and work for you even when they’re busy. Or even at a smaller level, if you have that rolodex of video editors, carousel designers, and fast-turn creators in whatever niche that you work in, you can quickly bring them into projects at reasonable rates. The list of influencers you know will post... That skillset alone separates you inside the current hiring environment. In the first seven weeks of 2026 alone, Dior has named ten new ambassadors: LaKeith Stanfield, Josh O'Connor, Drew Starkey, Taylor Russell, Florence Hunt, Sophie Wilde, Ever Anderson, Mike Faist, Sam Nivola, and Will Price. Nearly all of them followed Jonathan Anderson from Loewe, where he'd already built creative relationships through campaigns, red carpets etc This is an ecosystem transplant, he brought his entire creative world with him, O'Connor, Faist, and Starkey were all in Loewe campaigns. This trickles down to brands at every level
