"No one said no." What I've loved about Cindy Morris since meeting her at an American Society on Aging conference is her boldness and radical honesty. And as she shares in this clip, NOT ONE said no. For so many of us, especially those who've built careers on being capable, asking for help can feel harder than doing the work ourselves. But every woman I've interviewed for my Build Your Own Boat podcast has reminded me of the same truth: You don't have to build your dream alone. I've found that some of the biggest opportunities in my own work life came because I finally asked. If asking for help is something you struggle with, save this as a reminder that even the most successful people didn't get there alone. And--BONUS--Cindy also indicated in this session that she's always happy to help someone else. You might want to keep that in mind.
