Event Marketers spend more time *proving their events* worked than running them. That's the problem we've been building for. Last night, at our first Epoch Evenings Salon in San Francisco, a room full of Field and Event Marketers got the first look. ✨ I'm not going to say everything yet. The real launch is in August. 📆 But we brought together the exact people we're expanding Epoch for -- ran a "Spicy Takes" session on where event marketing is actually headed, and left with the kind of honest feedback that makes a product better. If you run Field or Event Marketing and want to be first to see it or become a design partner, drop me a DM! Thanks to everyone who spent the evening with us and shared your perspectives: Paulo Dumlao , April Chu Bidisa MukherjeeLindley Schneider Caroline Fursey Katelyn Wong Mimi Do, Jesse Mallare, Bryant Gevertz, CMP, Diego Riva, Becky Kosovsky, Hannah Itzkowitz, Maggie Aguilar Diaz, Angie Sparks, Stephany R., Alexandra Starr

  • 💭The best part of last night’s Event Marketing Salon in SF? The energy in the room. We gathered 20 sharp Field Marketing leaders for an evening of unfiltered, behind-the-scenes real talk. It also turned out to be the perfect backdrop to preview something we’ve been building. Last night, this group got the chance to see Epoch Plus: our new tool built specifically for running external B2B events. Getting to launch this in front of a community whose opinions we value meant everything. To everyone who attended: thank you for the spicy takes, the honest feedback, and for helping us launch.✨

  • What makes people actually want to be in a room together? At Epoch, answering that question is our day job. We’ve spent years focusing inward, powering the internal culture, all-hands, and team programming for some of the world's best workplaces. But lately, we’ve been looking at the external event landscape. Marketing leaders told us they were tired of events that felt like a transactional lead-gen machine with a bar attached. They wanted real connection. Say hello to Epoch Evenings. ✨ We decided to take our internal community-building playbook and apply it to external spaces. We’re hosting small, highly curated dinners specifically for Event and Field Marketers to talk shop, swap strategies, and skip the fluff. - The Vibe: No pitches, no awkward networking. Just actual peers having actual conversations. - The Logistics: Thursday, July 9 | San Francisco - The Menu: An incredible room of people (and some seriously good tacos). - The Capacity: We are strictly capping the room at ~20 marketing leaders to keep the conversation intimate. This is an invite-only experience, and the guest list is nearly full. We’ve saved a handful of seats, and we're being intentional about filling them with thoughtful people who care about the art of gathering. 👉 Want a seat at the table, or want to nominate a peer who would add to the room? Drop a comment below or slide into our DMs.

Connection and shared experiences are the core of why Epoch exists - so getting to host this year's offsite in our own HQ city, San Francisco, was a real treat. ✨ We got to play tourist where most of us live - while working and sharing best practices with each other. From hikes to a mini-boat ride in the Bay, to Barry's, and watching Obsession together (lol who else has seen it?? 10/10) - and trading the ways each of us is using Claude across our workflows - we came out more connected, more productive, and more equipped for the ambitious goals ahead. Major kudos to the team and James for pulling it all together! 👏 Curious how we pulled this off - and what were the core moments? DM me! We'll also be sharing more soon.

  • We’re nearing the end of Pride Month, and at Epoch, we’re using this point to reflect on the momentum we’re building. Celebrations are vital, but reflection is where the real growth happens. We’re asking ourselves: - Does our infrastructure support our intersectional community? - Are we moving past tolerance and into active empowerment? - How are we sustaining this energy for the other 11 months of the year? A supportive culture isn’t built overnight, nor is it sustained by a single month of events. It is forged in the daily, intentional choices we make to back each other up. Deeply grateful to our community builders and advocates who lead this charge every day. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈✨

New city. New role. New chapter. I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Epoch as a BDR in downtown San Francisco, where I'll be focusing on mid-market and enterprise accounts. Breaking into tech sales has been a goal of mine for a long time and getting to do it in a city I’ve dreamed of living in makes this moment even more meaningful. Austin, TX will always have a special place in my heart. I’m grateful for the leaders, mentors, and teammates who helped me grow and pushed me to keep raising the bar. Thank you to the Epoch team for the opportunity. I’m excited to learn, contribute, build new relationships, and grow in this next chapter. If you’re in SF, tech sales, or the startup world, I’d love to connect. #TechSales #SalesDevelopment #SanFrancisco #BDR
