  • Most credit officers spend 80% of their day churning data. GST records, bank statements pulled one by one. Policy breaches highlighted manually. Memos drafted from scratch. Somewhere in the hours left over, the actual underwriting happens. Fraud, meanwhile, has scaled. Synthetic identities, AI-generated documents, deepfakes. All of it is fast. You can't out-hire automated adversarial AI. The lenders pulling ahead have moved the data collection work to AI. Their credit teams spend the day on the calls only humans can make. We put the conversion data, regulatory shifts, and structural playbooks behind that shift into one guide for risk leaders. Underwriting in the AI era. Link in comments.

  • A loan application is not just about paperwork. It's a hospital bill that couldn't wait for payday. A daughter's semester abroad. A shop owner's second branch. A first home that took fifteen years of saving to even apply for. When that application sits in a queue for days, someone's deadline doesn’t. Meanwhile, the fraud coming through that same queue has industrialised. Synthetic identities, AI-generated bank statements, deepfake-assisted video calls. It forces lenders to tighten rules, adds friction, and slows down approvals for the honest borrowers. It doesn't have to work that way. The lenders redesigning underwriting right now are proving the trade-off is false. Fraud checks that run in seconds, decisions in minutes for genuine applicants, audit trails you can actually stand on. Faster for the real, harder for the fake. We've laid out what it looks like in practice, with the 2026 data and the RBI's expectations, in our fresh resource: “Underwriting in the AI Era”. Link in comments.

  • "Put out more good than you take in" has been HyperVerge's operating idea since day one. HyperVerge Academy is the most visible expression of it, but not the only one. This week, our leadership team took an afternoon to serve food at Avyang Foundation. What followed was a truly fulfilling experience. Leadership here means going first. The rest tends to follow.

At Avyang Foundation, every meal served is a reminder that kindness has the power to change lives. Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to HyperVerge Technologies Private Limited for generously sponsoring three nutritious meals for the elderly and destitute residents of our Avyang Destitute & Old Age Home. Your thoughtful contribution brought nourishment, comfort, and smiles to those who depend on our care. Beyond providing food, your support reinforces dignity, hope, and the feeling that they are valued and remembered. We sincerely thank the entire HyperVerge Technologies team for standing with us in our mission to care for the most vulnerable members of our community. HyperVerge Together, we are creating a future where no elderly person goes hungry and everyone experiences compassion and respect. 💜 Thank you, HyperVerge Technologies Private Limited, HyperVerge for making a meaningful difference! #ThankYou #CSR #CorporateSocialResponsibility #HyperVerge #AvyangFoundation #MealSponsorship #ElderlyCare #HomelessSupport #CommunityImpact #GivingBack #CompassionInAction #TogetherWeCan #Bengaluru #NGOIndia

  • CKYC 2.0 is coming. The regulatory documentation is long. Your time is not. CERSAI's new guidelines change how reporting entities handle Search, Consent, Download, Create, Update, and Re-KYC. If you run onboarding at a bank, NBFC, insurer, securities firm, or fintech, these changes will reach your customer journeys whether you're ready or not. We'd rather you were ready. Join us on July 23, 2026 for a working session where we'll: → Break down what actually changed between CKYC and CKYC 2.0  → Decode the latest CERSAI guidelines and implementation timelines  → Map the impact on onboarding flows, consent management, and APIs  → Take your implementation questions live Built for Product, Compliance, Ops, and Tech teams. No regulatory jargon marathons. Just the changes, what they mean, and what to do about them. Registration link in comments #CKYC #KYC #Compliance #BFSI #CERSAI

  • On June 24, the RBI published two documents in one day. First: a draft on model risk management that requires every AI system a bank deploys to have override and kill-switch arrangements. Second: the finalised fraud compensation framework, which sets out who pays the customer when fraud gets through. Read together, they change the economics of fraud prevention. From January 1, 2027, banks credit fraud victims first and establish fault later, with the burden of proof on the bank. Every fraud that isn't stopped upfront now carries a direct, regulator-mandated cost. Our July HyperCircle edition breaks down both documents, landing tomorrow: → The compensation framework: three things to change before January 1, and what it means for your vendor contracts → The model-risk draft: why accountability for third-party models now sits with the institution, and what that does to due diligence → The 544 basis point gap between credit growth and deposit growth, and why it becomes an onboarding problem before it becomes anything else If your role touches KYC, model governance, or fraud risk, this edition is built for your Monday meeting. Subscribe to get it first: link in comments.

A book showed up at the office this week, and everyone keeps picking it up. Down But Not Out, by Subrata Mitra and Pankaj Mishra, is about Indian founders who nearly lost everything but refused to fold. The book covers several inspiring stories, such as those of BlueStone, TaxiForSure.com, and Tejas Networks, other than HyperVerge. There was a point in our story when we had six months of cash and an offer to sell. The HyperVerge chapter is about why we said no. Every one of us has had phases that test us, big or small. Some of us make lemonade, some choose to juggle the lemons, but all of us have a #DownButNotOutMoment. Look out this week as our team shares their moments, and feel free to join in with yours!
