🌐 international Association of Planning, Scheduling, Controls and Coordination
About us
🌐𝗶𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗖𝗖®: An international association advocating for professional designation and value-contribution recognition and rewards for maintenance and project planning, scheduling, controls, and coordination roles. 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Provide members with a safe, secure, educational, and respectful online presence to showcase their unique talents in recognition of their value-contribution potential. 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Establish a chapter-based recognition platform where members unite and are rewarded for their value-contribution potential—individually and collectively, through their Intellectual Capital and Earned-Value iAPSCC® Recognition Status—to significantly enhance project and business performance worldwide. 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Advocate for Maintenance & Project Planners, Schedulers, and Cost Controllers in recognition of their value-contribution potential, whereby subscribers and members can benefit greatly from their earned-value iAPSCC® Recognition Status. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗖𝗖®? Planning, scheduling, and controlling costs for effective project delivery, regardless of project type, size, complexity, industry, or location are functions often performed by undesignated individuals whose value-contribution potential is not fully recognized. As such, respect and compensation are not as rewarding as they could be. Furthermore, with unrecognized value-contribution potential, many projects fail to meet their targeted deliverables. Billions of dollars will be invested in all types of projects worldwide by 2030 and beyond, many of which are related to green energy and technology, requiring more precise planning, scheduling, and cost control. When coupled with AI (Artificial Intelligence), these positions provide tremendous opportunities, benefits, and rewards to those qualified to expertly pilot and navigate them.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀. The most encouraging trend isn't AI adoption. It's the number of professionals choosing to learn, adapt, and upskill. www.iAPSCC.com #PlanningAndScheduling #ProjectControls #iAPSCC #ProfessionalDevelopment

𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! Most people focus on what AI tools can do. The better question is what they can't do. Ask about capabilities, failure rates, limitations, and where human expertise still matters. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. Not "𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳." Not "𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳." Not "𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩-𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘳." "𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙧." Those other phrases are wallpaper. Nobody reads them because nobody believes them. But self-learner points to a specific behavior: the habit and ability to teach yourself what you need to know, when you need to know it, without waiting to be told. In industrial maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects, that's not a differentiator. It's a survival skill. The iAPSCC® AI Impact Research found that 53% of practitioners adopted generative AI on their own initiative. No rollout. No formal training. They built fluency before their employer had a policy about it. That's self-learning at scale. It's exactly what's separating the practitioners widening their professional value from the ones waiting for a curriculum. The AI fluency gap isn't primarily a training gap. It's a self-learning gap. Strip the noise out of your resume. Where does self-learner show up in what remains, and how would you prove it? Full post in the comments. Signal and Noise is a weekly blog series. A point of view on AI and the industrial workforce. Every Thursday. #𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗡𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 #𝗔𝗜 #𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 #𝗶𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗖𝗖 #𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 #𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴
