We’re grateful to work with retail partners who share our mission and commitment to do the best for our pets, the people, and our planet. Posts like this remind us that mission isn’t just a business initiative; it’s personal. At KENT WORLDWIDE, we’re proud that products like World’s Best Cat Litter help support families, animal welfare, and more sustainable choices for cat owners everywhere. We’re equally proud to collaborate with customers and partners across the industry who are acting as a driving force to make that future possible.
Let’s have a talk about sustainability. When I hear “sustainability,” I usually think of incremental improvement at large scale: taking an unsustainable practice and making the net impact less bad. And there’s real value in that. But what gets me even more excited is turning a fundamentally unsustainable category into a sustainable one at its core. That requires, to borrow a term from Rory Sutherland, a little bit of “Magic.” Over the last year and a half, one of the most rewarding experiences of my career has been re-launching World’s Best Cat Litter, the leading natural and sustainable cat litter, at Walmart. Unlike traditional clay litter, which is mined from the earth, World’s Best is made from corn. What makes World’s Best work is that it does not rely on sustainability as the brand proposition. Instead, it wins by putting the cat and customer first: • Cats are not breathing clay dust • Lightweight matters in one of the heaviest categories in retail • Flushable and septic-safe (Wastewater professionals, please don’t come for me) • And the brand proposition of “World’s Best” (Up there with Bill Simmons' "The Book of Basketball" on my SEO Mount Rushmore. I guess I need two more nominees if you have any candidates in the comments.) Sustainability is the explanation, not the claim. And turning a corn byproduct into gold? That, to borrow another term, is simply “Alchemy.” While it’s a little surreal seeing the endcap on display as a customer and not a merchant while I’m out on paternity leave, it gave me a rare chance to see all three of my core values come together: • Take care of people, especially children. • Take care of animals. • Take care of the planet. See y’all in a few weeks.

At KENT WORLDWIDE, we’re always looking for new ways to connect with consumers – especially in categories where creativity isn’t always expected. Our team at World’s Best Cat Litter® has done just that with their latest campaign: “3 Big Chonks.” Fair warning – it might get stuck in your head. What looks like a music video is actually much more than that: a fully integrated campaign designed to show up across platforms and audiences in a fresh, entertainment-first way. From social to video to broader digital touchpoints, this effort brings a playful approach to pet care marketing while reinforcing a key idea: great creative isn’t always the most straightforward and direct – it’s the most memorable and doesn’t take itself too seriously. No Big Whoop. Check it out below:

We’re proud to share that KENT WORLDWIDE has been recognized by United Way of Muscatine County for the fourth year in a row, receiving the Large Company Handraiser Award at this year’s United Way Annual Luncheon. This honor reflects the incredible commitment of our Muscatine-based employees, who consistently give their time, talent, and resources to support education, financial stability, and community health across the county. In addition to the company award, we’re proud to celebrate two individual recognitions: Rich Dwyer, Sr. VP of Corporate Affairs, received the inaugural Sal LoBianco Board of Excellence Award for his long-standing leadership and dedication to United Way. Amber Gregory, Sales Administration Manager, was honored with the Individual Handraiser Award for her outstanding volunteerism and compassion, most notably her ongoing leadership of a community costume drive for children in need. From workplace campaigns and donation drives to Days of Caring and hands-on volunteer efforts, our people continue to show up in meaningful ways. When our community has a need, KENT WORLDWIDE answers the call. Thank you to United Way Muscatine County for this recognition, and thank you to our employees for making a lasting impact where we live and work.
