Last week, the NFL League Office welcomed Carl Nassib as part of their Pride Perspectives series in celebration of Pride Month. Carl shared reflections on his NFL career, his decision to come out five years ago, the impact that moment has had on younger generations of football players, and his current work as founder and CEO of Rayze. The 2026 NFL Mid-Career Executive Education Program brought together 40 talented leaders from the League Office and all 32 NFL Clubs for an impactful week at the Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education. Through faculty-led learning, executive fireside chats, and hands-on experiences, participants deepened their leadership capabilities, expanded their networks, and explored new approaches to driving strategic impact across the NFL. The week highlighted the power of collaboration, continuous learning, and investing in people. Last week, the NFL hosted a Collegiate General Manager Programming Track at the NACDA Convention in Las Vegas. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from former NFL General Managers, collegiate General Managers helping shape the future of the position, and other leaders from across the sports industry. It was great to see so many athletics professionals engage in discussions around roster management, talent evaluation, NIL strategy, organizational structure, and the evolving responsibilities of collegiate GMs. Thank you to all of this year's participants and speakers who contributed their time, expertise, and perspectives to make the program a success. The thoughtful conversations and knowledge sharing throughout the event reinforced the growing importance of the GM role in today's collegiate athletics landscape.

Last week in Orlando, the NFL hosted the Coach and Front Office Accelerator as part of the Spring League Meeting, bringing together established high caliber coaching and front office talent from across the league for leadership development, networking and relationship-building opportunities. Since launching in 2022, the program has continued to help strengthen the NFL’s leadership pipeline by creating meaningful connections between participants and club decision-makers.
