At the OU Career Center, we're always looking for innovative ways to connect students with meaningful experiences that build career-ready skills. Through our partnership with Handshake, OU students now have access to project-based AI work where they can gain hands-on experience training artificial intelligence models while earning income. Since October, 68 OU students representing 42 majors have earned nearly $100,000 through these projects. This is more than a paycheck. It’s an opportunity for students to develop experience with emerging technologies, strengthen critical thinking and communication skills, and build resumes that reflect the changing workforce.
