Congratulations to Paula, Regional Excellence in Nursing Award Nominee! Our very own Paula Hinojosa, BSN, RN, CDCES, recently was recognized at the Southwest Colorado Regional Excellence in Nursing Award celebration as a nominee in the Acute Care Clinical Practice category. As a bilingual, bicultural, Certified Diabetic Educator, Paula has helped dozens of patients living with diabetes move mountains (and their A1c values!) in their journeys toward more healthful living. Her passion and compassion are evident to anyone who has seen her in action. A member of the TMC Team for 18 years, Paula continues to embody the mission, vision, & values our clinic strives to provide to our community. Thank you, Paula!

Spring Health Month special includes an annual wellness exam and corresponding lab work for $185 or less for adults and $50 for children. TMC offers extra appointment times to better accommodate our community when folks have more time to prioritize their health. We’re sending a big shout-out to Telluride Regional Medical Center for this recent feature highlighting how, despite federal funding cuts, they continue to provide robust family planning services across San Miguel County, Colorado. “The goal at TMC is that a patient should ideally be able to get their first choice contraceptive method the same day,” said Emily McGough, a primary care nurse practitioner at TMC. “It’s the gold standard.” We are proud to partner with TMC and to support their incredible work providing accessible, affordable, and patient-centered contraceptive care.
