Advocating for better access, lower costs, and higher-quality health care for every Texan.
Info
The Texas Association of Health Plans (TAHP) is the statewide trade association representing commercial and public health plans—including Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and individual market plans—and related health care organizations operating in Texas. Since 1987, TAHP has served as the leading voice for the health plan community, advocating for policies that improve access, affordability, and quality of care for Texans. Our members provide coverage to more than 20 million people through employer-sponsored insurance, individual plans, and public programs. TAHP brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to address the state’s most pressing health care challenges. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we work to ensure Texans can get the care they need—when they need it—at a price they can afford.

🏆 Alaffia Health was named one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Startup Workplaces, recognizing its team culture and AI-driven work to improve health care operations.
I’m proud to share that Alaffia Health has been named by Newsweek as one of America's Greatest Startup Workplaces. It's incredibly exciting to see Alaffia listed alongside so many great companies changing the world, like Anthropic, Perplexity, Harvey, and many others. When Adun and I founded Alaffia, we were intentional about the kind of environment we wanted to create. One where people are genuinely excited to come to work, feel supported by the people around them, and are invested in using AI to help transform our healthcare system for the better. As our team grows, that commitment doesn't change. We believe that when people work cohesively and share a common purpose, the results inevitably follow. This recognition is proof that we're on to something. Excited to keep building!!
