Kicking off our summer Venture Lab NEXT and Venture Lab Accelerator cohorts yesterday with tough conversations and expert inspiration ✨ Excited to have University of Cincinnati - College of Engineering and Applied Science alum and Flowspace Co-founder & CTO Jason Harbert sharing his founder story with the group. From serial founder to Y-Combinator backed startup, Jason highlighted the highs and lows of his journey, shared what hyper-growth actually looks like, and discussed how he is positioning AI in his company today. Our cohorts also engaged with their first Mentor Swarm where they practiced their pitches with our mentors and were challenged with questions around their business models and value propositions. What an incredible day at the 2nd Annual Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) Conference at the University of Cincinnati. In partnership with CincyETA (Entrepreneurship through Acquisition), the Center for Entrepreneurship welcomed 100+ entrepreneurs, investors, operators, and industry leaders for a day focused on acquisition entrepreneurship, practical learning, and meaningful connection. From expert-led sessions to candid conversations and new relationships formed throughout the day, the energy in the room was a true reflection of Cincinnati’s growing ETA ecosystem. This year’s conference built on the momentum of our inaugural event last year, as well as the launch of the center’s first ETA executive education course this spring—led by serial ETA entrepreneur and UC entrepreneurship adjunct professor Alex Burkhart.
