I've been out and about across the South UK this week meeting clients and candidates. Thank you to everyone Iāve caught up with, itās been great. Interesting how different the market feels when youāre in the room, compared to online meetings. I genuinely believe you cannot recruit properly for a business until you have been there in person. You get to understand the culture, the environment, the pace, the personalities, and the reality behind the brief. That is where the proper insight sits. For me, that is the difference. I do not just recruit from a job description, I recruit from understanding. And the same applies to candidates. Meeting in person gives you a much clearer sense of who they are, what motivates them, and what will genuinely matter in their next move. Next week, Iāll be doing the same in the North West.
