Our Management Interns traveled to the corporate office in Davenport, Iowa for a multi-day experience focused on building relationships and seeing firsthand how teams across Von Maur work together.   Throughout the visit, interns heard directly from leaders, explored different areas of the business, and got a closer look at how our stores and corporate office teams come together to create the Von Maur experience.   One of the highlights of the visit was bringing together our store interns, corporate office interns, and corporate trainees for an evening at a Quad Cities River Bandits baseball game.   Thank you to our interns for a fantastic visit! Next week we welcome our Store Management interns across 22 store locations!   Over the course of the summer, these interns will gain hands-on experience learning the fundamentals of store leadership, customer service, and retail operations. Working within our Shoe departments as Assistant Floor Managers, they will partner closely with store leadership teams while developing the skills needed to support an exceptional customer experience.   From leadership meetings and job shadows to time spent in our corporate offices, the program offers a well-rounded introduction to retail management at Von Maur.   Thank you to our store teams for creating such thoughtful welcomes for our interns. We are excited to welcome our new Merchandising, Marketing, and Ecommerce interns this week!   Over the next 10 weeks, they will gain hands-on experience learning who the Von Maur customer is, working directly with our buyers and marketing teams, and experiencing all aspects of the business from the sales floor to our corporate office.   We look forward to the contributions and fresh perspectives they will bring to our organization this summer.
