“I worked with Aimee Leishure for over 13 years at Laureate Education, Inc. When I joined Laureate in 2006, Aimee had been with the Company for several years and was a key executive in the Corporate Finance group. She was in charge of Financial Planning and Analysis, and did an outstanding job. Through the years as Laureate grew, I would remind Aimee at different times that the job that she did when I joined the company was now performed by 10, 15, 20, 50 people. Meaning that she was doing a very big job that required a massive amount of time, effort, experience and intelligence. Aimee progressed to different jobs during our time at Laureate, and I always interfaced with her on a regular basis based on her roles in Finance and mine in Human Resources. She is one of the brightest people I've ever worked with; one of the hardest-working, and an extremely nice, professional person. How she found time to be a Girl Scout leader I'll never know, but now that we're not working together and living in different areas I'll have to get my Girl Scout cookies from someone else! To summarize - Aimee hits every criteria that I would use to hire someone - smart, hard-working and nice at the 100% level. A stunningly successful, exciting leader. Someone that produces - big time. ”
