    Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a rare chronic disease that occurs when patients’ immune systems attack their livers and sometimes damage them. With treatment, most patients don’t need liver transplants and have normal life expectancies.

    In July 2017 my daughter was diagnosed with AIH. Thanks to her wonderful doctor she's been doing great for 3+ years. In 2020 I was fortunate enough to join the board of the AIHA. If you are interested in helping the cause, please reach out.
