Brad Alperin shared thisAn interesting shift happening in OOH is that movement itself is becoming part of the opportunity. For a long time, we thought about OOH primarily through fixed locations. However, consumer behavior has changed. People are constantly moving through their day, commuting, traveling, shopping, and experiencing their communities. Moving and dynamic OOH is evolving alongside that reality. Transit, mobile assets, rideshare, experiential environments, and dynamic creative all create new ways for brands to show up in the flow of everyday life. The bigger opportunity is that OOH is becoming less about a single impression and more about presence across a consumer journey. In a world where so much media is fighting for attention inside a screen, there is something powerful about meeting people where life is actually happening. Brad Alperin shared thisOne more reflection from Cannes... One of the most encouraging things I took away from the week wasn't about a trend. It was about where the conversation is happening. More and more, we're being invited into discussions earlier. Some of my best meetings weren't about media plans at all. They were about business objectives, customer journeys, sponsorships, loyalty, creators, fan experiences, AI, and measurement. The media conversation came later. To me, that's a sign of something important. As brands look for partners who can help them create meaningful real-world experiences, they're looking beyond inventory. They're looking for strategic thinking, creative ideas, and collaborators who can help solve business problems. That was especially evident in conversations with independent agencies. Again and again, I heard some version of the same message: We're looking for partners to bring us ideas, help us think differently, make us smarter, help us make our clients successful. That's exactly where I believe OUTFRONT should be. We'll always deliver great media. But our biggest opportunity is to contribute before the brief is written—to help shape the opportunity, not just execute against it. I left Cannes feeling like we've earned the right to be in those conversations. Now it's on us to keep proving we belong there. #CannesLions #BrandStrategy #IRLMedia

Brad Alperin shared this**Sunday night thought.** It's funny what sticks with you after Cannes. Not the biggest announcements. Not the flashiest activations. It's the conversations with friends, colleagues, clients, and partners. (And the heat... but mostly the conversations.) Now that I've had a little time to digest the week, two themes keep coming back to me. More and more, brands seem to be shifting from asking, *"How do we reach more people?"* to asking, *"How do we become part of people's lives in a way that actually matters?"* Across conversations about sports, creators, live events, retail, and communities, the aspiration felt remarkably consistent: show up in culture, not just in channels. That's why I believe IRL media will be more important for brands than ever. Shared experiences aren't just another touchpoint—they're places where brands can contribute something people genuinely value. The second theme was the growing value of the real world itself. Digital isn't becoming less important. It's becoming more crowded—and, in many ways, less human. AI is accelerating content creation, algorithms are fragmenting attention, and every feed is competing for the same finite moments. Meanwhile, experiences people actually share—with other people—feel more valuable than ever. We remember them differently. We trust them differently. Brad Alperin reacted on thisBrad Alperin reacted on thisThat is not a real taxi meter on my desk. But it could be. Fare: $3.40. Use the trunk? That's 50 cents. Every fifth of a mile, click. Somebody thought this was the fairest way to price a ride -- and honestly, for rides, it kind of was. For creative work? We're still doing it. We just hide the meter. The billing debate is everywhere right now. Digiday's running point-counterpoint on subscriptions, every feed has a 2026 "outcome-based pricing" playbook borrowed from the AI-agent crowd, and it's the same cage match every time: hourly vs subscription vs pay-for-results, with someone declaring hourly is dead. That's not how it is for all of our clients. Holding cos are retiring their named shops like DDB and FCB -- agencies people gave whole careers to -- and we're over here arguing about the invoice while the thing the invoice was supposed to value walks out the door. BREAKING: None of the Three Models Actually Work. Outcome pricing falls apart in creative because attribution is a mess. You can't credit brand lift to one asset, so good luck invoicing on results. Subscriptions turn into a design-ticket queue racing itself to the bottom. And hourly is literally the meter -- click, click, click. All three bill for the deliverable or the result. None of them bill for the capability. The model that lasts is paying for access to the system. A small AI-forward team of creative directors and creators, plus the brand intelligence they build for you, priced on what it can do -- not how many spots it ships. Because the scarce thing was never the deliverable. It's the POV. The read on which idea is right before the data can prove it. And the system built around that read, so the right call scales instead of landing once. AI didn't kill creative or production. It killed selling them by the fifth of a mile. When output is infinite, the informed voice is the only thing that doesn't compress -- and the only thing worth paying for.

Most brands don’t break because of visuals. They break because the system behind them can’t scale. If your team has to “figure it out” every time they create a new deliverable, that’s operational drag. When your brand isn’t structurally clear, you’ll feel it in: • Slower content production • Inconsistent messaging • Marketing that only works sometimes • Sales teams over-explaining the offer A strong brand system should increase revenue velocity, not slow it down.
