Out for Undergrad (O4U) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping high potential LGBTQ+ undergraduates reach their full potential. We host four conferences each year that connect students with seasoned LGBTQ+ professionals. I dedicate 5 to 10 volunteer hours to O4U each week.
Accomplishments:
• Restructured pricing and sponsorship packages to increase YOY sponsor dollars by +48%
• Personally managed 26 sponsor relationships and fundraised 40% of our $XXXK…Out for Undergrad (O4U) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping high potential LGBTQ+ undergraduates reach their full potential. Observations in Silicon Valley Preseed rounds done in SF has a 2-4x markup versus deals done outside of SF Met 2 companies building the exact same product & with similar rev < $100k Company A: SF based, younger founders out of college with less experience in the space, TS at $25m post Company B: Midwest-based, older founders with connections in the industry, TS at $6m post Same product, same traction...that’s the SF premium

Ten years ago, getting a website designed could easily set you back $5,000–$10,000. Today? You can launch a polished site in minutes for essentially $0. The same thing is now happening in software and app development. Platforms like Lovable are democratising tech creation letting anyone build complex, customised apps using language models without engineers, coders, or a single line of code. Zero capital investment. Near-instant build times. This isn’t low-grade MVP work either these tools are already producing market-ready products. For companies whose moat was “we have the engineers and the dev budget,” this is dangerous ground. Lovable is still in its early days and the curve of improvement will be exponential. Many will need to rethink where their value truly lies before that moat completely drains. For me, the answer is obvious: if creation costs are heading to zero, value shifts to distribution. If you own an audience, you own the pipe. You can build cheaply, launch instantly, and push it straight into the market you already reach. We are in a moment of extreme change the same kind of structural shift that flattened web design agencies a decade ago.
